We came here for the first time today. The place is clean, friendly staff, and we enjoyed our food. We will be back.

Unimpressed and offended.The staff treated us like we were beneath them and during our meal,laughed and pointed at our table while speaking Spanish. Not to mention the service was slow despite the restaurant being almost completely empty. 10 minutes for a refill while the staff joked and cut up by the register? The kicker was during their fun convo the server made eye contact and literally waved her hand at me like "whatever". Any interaction she had to have with our table seemed to annoy her which was clear by the fun fun eye rolling. The food was subpar at best. We will never EVER go back. Waste of time and money. Service is awful. I went to go dine in and was NEVER greeted. I stood at the checkout counter while waiting to be seated and was never acknowledged- the 2 staff members in the front who seen me enter the building walked to the back instead. I had to holler across the room to get assistance. The restaurant only had 3 customers seated at the time. read more

My wife and I haven't ordered from here since before the plandemic began, it was hit and miss before that and she was in the mood for Mexican food this evening. She ordered the steak fajita dinner for takeout. I went in to pick up the order and the place was empty. The meal came with the standard refried beans and rice, along with a generous amount of meat. 3 tortillas, guacamole, and sour cream. Also came with tortilla chips and salsa. Steak was fairly tasty and tender. Lettuce appeared fresh. Good meal for around $13.00 plus a tip. She said that she would definitely order from there again, and she usually bitches about everything. read more

I'm not overly fond of the chain in town, especially the restaurant on tyndall parkway. This place is the exception. The menus looked delicious and tasted actually like authentic Mexican food and dishes here. I highly recommend the white cheese or queso blanco as a side dish for your savory enjoyment. The fajitas were amazing... especially if you add mushrooms. The owners are so nice. It is back open under the owners everyone loved. If you haven't been there in a while give them a chance. They had a soft opening and are still making some changes but the chicken fajitas are my new favorites. read more

Best Mexican restaurant in Panama City/Lynn Haven area. They have consistently been serving the best Mexican food in the area since we first started going here about 15 years ago. It is always fresh and cooked to order, no microwave action here. My favorite is the Chile rellenos. I've tried the alambres which is good. As well as the fajita burrito. The sweet tea is terrific and the chips and salsa is so tasty. Definitely get the queso dip too. read more

Music is fun The cheese dip is huge like a boat of cheese! I got the chimi and loved it. Plus the sweet tea is so good! He got the nachos and enjoyed them too! The food here is actually vile. I got takeout and the smell upon opening everything was revolting. Slimy vegetables, brown guacamole, soggy quesadilla, stale chips, questionable meat. This is by far the worst Mexican restaurant in town. Avoid at all costs. read more

We have eaten here several times in the past and had no complaints. After eating here tonight it will be our last visit. While the food was very tasty (after we finally got it), the service was horrible. We had to ask our server for refills each time. Old Mexico has been my favorite place to eat in the area for years. I was sad to see them leave 15th Street and really happy to learn they were operating in Lynn Haven. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable and the food is as good or better than any Mexican food you can find in town. My family loves Old Mexico. My mom likes to go if she's had a bad day because she says it's like the Cheers bar, everyone knows your name. Roberto is great. After getting used to the little boat of queso, it's disappointing to go to another restaurant and get a tiny bowl (if it isn't more than what other restaurants serve, the dish definitely gives the illusion that it is). We are on vacation and haven't eaten all day, family member told us about this place and I'm so glad she did. This place is AMAZING. I ordered a chicken and steak with rice and melted cheese on it and it was awesome. Cousin got tacos, rice and beans. Dad got pulled pork with rice and beans.
