I'm native & my husband is white we moved here from Arizona came straight from Grand Canyon on the Reservation of Supai, after getting our food an we were still eating the waiter come to our table and ask if we want a check already, miss ma'am wanted us out of her restaurant asap also they have a soup bar but not the classic chicken noodle soup??? No thanks, probably our first & last time eating there but still visiting downtown though just not that restaurant. No tip btw cause they were rude & we were being rushed to eat. ‍ read more

I went in there for some dinner the other day and I didn't catch the waitresses name, but she was very rude which is surprising for the younger community around there. ordered the chicken fried steak skillet. The meat tasted sour, the waitress did not come back to the table for at least 10 minutes. told her and she just looked surprised. she left without taking the food and than came back and said the manager took it off the bill. nothing else said. I looked at her a said to just bring me a hamburger & fries. another 10 minutes. looked over at the pass and there sat my burger, I went up and asked the 2 people there if it was mine. the waitress looked at the slip and said yes. I presume that even if you fasted 4 daysand night** without eating and drinking, this place will still have you disgusted... After doing some errands with the "rez" crew, we were hungry and needed lunch. This place seemed harmless enough, so we gave it a shot. Unbeknownst to us, we were about to be poisoned. The waitress told us about the soup buffet and since it was a bit chilly out, we thought it would be a great idea to have soup. What a mistake. Now, the cheese and beer soup sounded great. But how do you use cheese whiz to make soup? Is there some kind of law against that? It was just disgusting. The tomato soup was also scary. I had one bite and thought it would come right back up. My poor vegetarian friend thought she made a wise choice by getting waffle and strawberries. We were all envious of her order until it arrived. Yes, there was a waffle but splattered on top were canned gooey strawberries with a ring of whipped cream. I am sure it tasted as nasty as it looked. For Buddha's sake, the Midwest really needs a lesson on eating well. Not everything has to be fried, greasy and super sweet. Well its no wonder we are in the midst of an obesity epidemic. Blame those Midwesterners! **In Native American culture, the person doing a Sun Dance will dance and fast without eating or drinking for 4 days and night. Carpet smells bad. Restaurant needs a good cleaning. My opinion is the owner does not seem to have a clue. Had breakfast that came to $16. for two of us and the tax came to $11.00. Waitress said she did not know how that happened. Will never go back even for coffee. read more

Disgusting... The server brought this gentleman's order and he realized it was the wrong type of toast( he ordered wheat and they gave him white). He then took the toast out of his plate with his bare hands abs handed it to the server. The server realized she gave him someone else's order and asked for the whole plate back. She then took the late and gave it to the customer who had order it. Idc what kind of relationship you have with your customers, you don't serve food that has been handled without gloves, especially if toy don't know the last time those people washed their hands. Decided to try this place after my daughter loving their hamburgers. My husbands hamburger he said was very good. Me and my daughter got their country fried steak skillet dinner, with extra gravy on the side. Tasty, good diner meat & white cream gravy, you know the kind I'm talking about the frozen pre-breaded kind. The eggs and then I substituted the hash browns for their fries which were great. They Did Have All YOU Could Eat Soup Bar With Fresh Fry bread. I was not impressed with the look of the soups, but the fry bread was sooooo good. It is an old quaint place that throws you back on time. Our server was very good and quick with refills. But will I go back?? Probably not read more

Fully staffed frontline and in the back of the house... But that's where the only positives about this establishment are. The wait to be seated wasn't very long, even with it being not busy at all. As with every single time my wife and our family eat here, the service gives you the impression that the staff ignore you on purpose. Every waitress we have ever had have the same "why the hell do I work here" attitude. The food is of acceptable standards if done right and given properly without something missing. The staff will never check on your needs, so you are better off walking out the door to any of the better places in the town. read more

I had a few hours to kill after getting of the train an early July morning and sought some breakfast at the Main Street Cafe. I was greeted with a friendly hello as I walked in, and the hot coffee I needed was in front of me as quickly I could unload my duffel in the booth and take a seat. I ordered the steak and eggs, which came with hashbrowns and wheat toast. My steak came cooked to an appropriate medium (as requested), the eggs a perfect over-easy. The meal was hearty, satisfying, and very tasty. My usual breakfast consists of fruit and yogurt or a granola bar, and, let me tell you, this full and heavy breakfast was a welcome treat.
