There's a little bit of everything, including a Cinemark movie theater. Parking is always a breeze. The "mall" is pretty spread out, so be sure to wear comfy shoes if you want to walk the entire thing without re-parking. Oh, and be sure to bring a large shopping bag to carry all your purchases in. You're certain find something(s) you just can't live without, but didn't know you needed. :)

San Marcos Premium Outlets is a wonderful place for some decent to great deals. I noticed some…read morestores that have closed down or have moved locations since the last time I was here. They tend customer service ranges from decent to great depending on the store. The stores that I love going to are Coach, Victoria's Secret, Kate Spade and Watch Station. I checked out Aerie recently and liked the store as well. These stores tend to have great deals and the customer service is usually good. I appreciate that they have a food court and a couple of stands available for a snack. I tried taquitos and greens in the food court which had yummy food. Their Aunty Annie's stand is one of my favorite spots. I look forward to returning to the premium outlets.

There is also a great Lego store, Barnes and Noble, and plenty of good food choices. The worst part of La Cantera is that half of the people who go here seem like they are on their first week on Earth and do not know what they are doing. I love people who walk four in a row and block entire walkways, or people who stop randomly in the middle of the path to look at something. You make my life so miserable. Parking is also pretty insane if you are trying to park up close, but if you have patience, anything is possible. Be careful of the reckless drivers who have no courtesy for anything but themselves. The layout of the mall is pretty nice. Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom Rack have some higher price tag shops surrounding them, while Dillard's and Macy's have more affordable stores nearby. Across the street from the main hub is additional shopping with Zara, J.Crew, J.Jill, Free People, H&M, and most of the dining options, including Perry's, Grimaldi's, Yard House, Palenque Grill, Cheesecake Factory, and more. When the weather is nice and it is not scorching hot, The Shops are a great place to visit in San Antonio. Parking was limited due to the valet parking lot. The restroom near Build-a-Bear smelled like a landfill. Management/Owners put more energy in a valet parking lot than the restroom. Buc-ee's adjacent! This is a large shopping center facing…read moreI-35 northbound, and Creekside Crossing, which is where the Buc-ee's is- this used to be the largest convenience store in the world across the street. New Braunfels Town Center isn't really in the town center- that's where the square is. This is a bit outside of the downtown area. It's not really creekside either. This shopping center is large, with lots of chain restaurant options, and a liquor store, and plenty of places to shop. Ingress and egress is easy along the Creekside Crossing road and the I-35 frontage road. Parking is plentiful. I do not care for the intersection that TxDot made in front of this place, between this shopping center and Buc-ee's. It briefly makes drivers drive on the left side of the road like we're in Britain or something.

Not to be confused with Aquafina Plaza, which is where they sell a whole sh**load of bottled water…read more Tight little Plaza (minds out of gutters) that is kind of difficult to get in and out of in San Marcos, a decent sized town just south of Austin, a little north of San Antonio, which contains a whole ton of stores and not nearly enough parking space when it gets busy... But it's still a cool center to have in San Marcos, which is not where you would expect to go to find this kind of shopping plaza, and there is a location of a local Bubble Tea chain - Teapioca Lounge - that is big in OKC and Austin, so that's cool.
