This has happened to me on multiple occasions. It's deeply frustrating for people who work insane hours to take the time to drive over (with plenty of time to spare), only to be told in a very brusque manner that they aren't accepting any more cars. It should be noted that other locations don't seem to have this problem- it seems to be a quirk of workplace culture specific to this particular location.

Being Sunday not many places open for tire repair , but VIP was open. Staff were friendly , knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely recommend this business and will return for future needs.

That said, they are one of the most expensive shops in Vermont--even more expensive than our regional Subaru dealership service centers. On a most recent visit, I asked about their hourly rate ($155) ahead of time. An hour later (two hours total) they charged me $375--almost 2 1/2 hours of labor, and stated there was more work involved than anticipated. I'm happy to pay a good mechanic a high labor rate, but not thrilled to pay 2 1/2 hours of labor for an hour of work.
