My husband and I teamed up for a 5ft single board sign. It turned out so awesome!! The instructor guided us, helped us, and was there for suggestions as we went. We will for sure be doing this again. So many neat possibilities, and I learned so much too! My favorite part was how one piece could be a team effort between my husband and I. It's nice not having to pay per person as with other painting places. Highly suggest this place, and don't forget to BYOB!!! Makes it that much more fun!

We painted a mug for Siena's Grandmother, then we painted a unicorn and bunny for Siena. They had a ton of amazing ceramic options to choose from. They played great music, the atmosphere was bright, happy, and positive. Then the owner Ruby arrived and was equally sweet and creative. After we painted, my daughter colored as they have coloring books and pens for children. We are so lucky to have stumbled upon this ceramic studio. Thank you again Kim & Ruby for a magical afternoon! We can't wait to pick up our ceramics in a week after they are in the kiln.

I've never seen anything quite like this business, and I mean that in the best way…read more This should be your new "go-to" if you are seeking a custom gift, or a unique piece for your own home. I'll start by saying that my very goal was to give my father in law a special gift. Something you couldn't get anywhere else. After hearing stories of his childhood, and some of the things that meant something to him as a child, I looked to recreate an old sign in glass. Fortunately, Facebook pointed me to Groovy Moon Glass, and the owner Nicole, who happens to have her storefront right there in my hometown. I started by reaching out to Groovy Moon Glass through Facebook, and telling Nicole what I was looking for. She had great vision - from my ideas she crafted a design that was even better than I had imagined. She also had an amazing knowledge of what size I would need to really make the details pop. The finished product - beautiful! Hanging in the window, the light shines through and it really catches the eye. Truly, it's a centerpiece that my father in law absolutely loves. I had it shipped directly to him in Colorado. I haven't done this (yet!) But she makes incredible portraits of people's pets, and everyone raves about how great those are as gifts. That will be my next purchase! Something they do that I also have not taken advantage of - classes in store! Check out her Facebook for pics of the kids classes, which look super great. There's nothing like a custom piece, but keep in mind - custom items take time and don't always come cheap. Believe me, though, you get something more valuable than what you pay - a piece that is one of a kind, and absolutely sure to be something that the recipient, or you, treasure forever. I'm so glad I found Groovy Moon Glass, thankful for Nicole's talent, and even more grateful that this place is in my hometown making it a better place.

This place is NOT a craft shop. Apparently they lean to the "scrapbook" side. So if you looking for…read morecraft items, don't waste your time. The best place to get actual craft items is at the Walmart, which has a really good craft section. The owner for some reason did not even mention Walmart as an option. Instead she advised I would have to go all the way to Waxahachie, Texas to the Hobby Lobby. This makes me believe she does not like Walmart for some reason because surely she knows what craft items they have. So I am also disappointed that I was mislead by her.

Precious little trinkets and darling kitten (and octopus!) scissors. Tiny little buttons perfect for little baby sweaters. Everyone shopping seemed to know and love the affable owner who gave sage stitching advice and directed each person to exactly what they needed and then some! The best part is that if you cannot make it to the shop you can shop at her Etsy shop! Do not pass up the vintage beaded Christmas tree or cross kits. Very retro and cute! The owner said to place a little light under it for a darling effect. I cannot wait to return soon!
