I can tell a lot of time has been put in to filling this store with the latest trends, classic pieces and items that will flatter women of all shapes and sizes. They even had the cutest selection of baby and children's clothing that made me wish my kids were young again. Sigh... My husband accompanied me so I know he appreciated the sales rack! I got a few items from there that were just as cute as the regular priced outfit I got. I didn't have a lot of time but there were several shelves that had wonderfully scented soaps, jewelry, candles and more. Next time I am in Waco, I will make a stop to get some Christmas gifts for friends and family...and maybe a couple more for myself too. On Pistols & Pearls' website, I found a turquoise petal necklace and a tunic that I just had to have. I went through the easy add-to-cart process, entered my payment information and hit 'submit'. Once I was back on the homepage, though, I noticed that they had a '10% off a $50 purchase' coupon code that I didn't have the chance to enter before my order was on the way. Quickly calling the store, I spoke with a super-nice girl who advised me that she'd take the 10% off my final total before shipping the order to me. Sweet! What's even better, is that I received a shipping notice not an hour after I had called the store. And less than two days later, the necklace and tunic were on my doorstep... and were even more beautiful than I had imagined. Talk about quick service! I'm not too far from Midlothian, so a trip there is in the works and I'll definitely stop in to have a look around!

Well, where do I start???…read more Prices... any shoes is either $14.99 , $19.99 or more. Other thrift stores I can find shoes for $4.99 and mostly $6-$8. Exceptions for boots that go up to $15. Jewelry way overpriced. $6.99, $7,99, but mostly $8.99 fir junk, faded, ugly jewelry. In other thrift stores I pay from $1.50-$3.00 for jewelry. Also their furniture is pretty expensive...just saw a foldable guest bed for $99 (what I think should be sold at $25-$35 tops)... You get the idea... It's all for a good cause but the good cause of people who can't afford is not there. I don't know what has happened to this store but it is not what it used to be. My last three visits to this store had me leaving empty handed. The items are overpriced for being donated to them, the selection is not that great and to me personally, the atmosphere seems changed. I believe my time will be better spent avoiding this store for awhile.
