They took our drink orders in advance so during photos we had drinks! One of the best rehearsals I've been to and the day of the wedding was lovely. Everything was great and all the staff are really amazing. They were genuinely enjoying themselves and having fun, which made working with them so much more enjoyable too! They brought us out appetizers for photos too and continued to help the bride and groom with holding drinks and flowers. Truly impressive. What a great venue and experience. I did not stay for dinner, as the ceremony and photos were outside and I was with the pup! But the cocktail I had was great and the apps were really good too! I bet the dinner is great. There is also tons of parking for guests and the grounds are stunning!

She spearheaded the planning process by reaching out to all our vendors in a timely manner, continuously updated us each step of the way, and made the day of our wedding a night to remember! We chose to do an outdoor ceremony with the Tent for our reception. Everything we needed was included in an unbeatable package deal that we couldn't resist. We also had so many people compliment the food and the vibe of the venue. All the vendors that SEG partners with are definitely worth going with. From the first meeting with Angela (who is amazing), we did not look any further. This was it and I could not wait. We called her back, set the date, and it was on! Angela went over the changes that were going to be made. They added in a Cinderella staircase (seriously I was a princess for the day!) and they were going to be renting out the childhood home on the property as well. It was perfect! We rented the house in the back as soon as we could give her the deposit. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 living rooms, corn hole, fire pit, grill, it was literally perfect. Thursday before the wedding we had the rehearsal dinner---- we had Italian (delicious!). Friday night the girls stayed at the house with me while the guys stayed at a hotel so we weren't together the night before. One of the propane tanks ran out so we sent a text to the caretaker that stays in the apartment above the house and the guy came and got it, filled it, and brought it back! I told Angela I was ready to write a review without even having the wedding yet! The day of our wedding went perfect! Angela was in control and her staff was amazing! I loved all of them. The food was outstanding as well! If you are looking for your perfect venue you HAVE to stop here and check it out! It would be impossible to not fall in love with it all!!!! THANK YOU TO ANGELA & HER AMAZING STAFF!!!! A girls dreams do come true!

Shame on the River Club. I attended a wedding there recently and was appalled by the quality of…read morefood. When attending a large wedding the bar is generally set pretty low, The River Club underperformed that standard . The cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were frozen - heat and serve . The entrees were inedible. The tenderloin was fatty , full of gristle and ranged from well done to raw. The grill marks were not actually grill marks. The biggest sprig of rosemary I've ever seen was intended to cover up the disaster of a plate that was covered in a congealed lump of brown sauce. The four tiny roasted potatoes and asparagus fell short. Others at our table had a stuffed chicken breast that looked as if it were made days ago, reheated and served. It looked like an old shoe. The majority of the entrees went untouched. The pastries for desert were also a disaster they were thawed and soggy. The cannoli was as limp as wet noodle. The only edible thing was the wedding cake which was most likely brought in.How do they get away with serving this slop. Bar service was horrible, 2 bartenders for 150 guests. Slow and rude. I was a guest, if I was the one paying for this , I would've blown a gasket.
