We then owned a house in France and spent several weeks there at different times during the year. Firhill Pets Hotel was recommended to us by our veterinary surgeon, and we acted upon his advice when deciding where to board the dogs whenever we were away. We were always so pleased with the care the dogs received, and their general condition when we brought them home, that we never once felt any need to try any other boardiing kennels. Today, I am now a widow, and until last January I still had two dogs. Sadly the older one was put to sleep due to old age, she was almost sixteen. Now Rosie, who is thirteen, still has her 'holidays' at Firhill whenever necessary, and barks happily the minute I drive her in through the gates. Knowing Rosie I suspect she barks quite a lot most of the time! As well as looking after Jan during her life, the proprietors of Firhill Kennels very kindly buried her in a private area of their own garden, and so they are still looking after her for me, and I can say hello to her each time I go there. I would most definitely recommend Firhill Pets Hotel to anyone looking for a safe, caring place to board their pet, or pets.
