Brand new pool, but no pool furniture

We had a great time here this past weekend. Unfortunately it poured most of the time, but I can't control the weather, and neither can they. You can tell that they've been in business for 50+ years, because they have tons of people who came as children that continue to come. It was our first time there. I will tell you, it's heavily wooded, so bring that bug spray!! They have 1 seasonal person at least for every 3 sites. You can tell folks come for the season because they build decks on their sites. I will absolutely come back to check out the pool without rain and there is a winery within walking distance which I am super excited to check out. We had a great time, and it was a great price.

Always enjoy staying here. Rustic, laid back, country vibes. Say hello to the cows when you visit.

Dear Owner of Clarksboro KOA, I am writing to bring to your…read moreattention a disappointing experience my wife and I had during our recent stay at the Clarksboro KOA. On two separate occasions, we encountered one of your morning shift employees who was not only rude to us but also to other guests. Yesterday, when we asked about the cost of the washer machines, she responded dismissively, mumbling that she had "no idea," all while eating her food in front of customers. This morning, we again experienced the same unprofessional and discourteous behavior with threats of returning mail rather than explain KOA policy regarding mail delivery. As a successful business owner myself, I often remind my team that if we don't take care of our customers, someone else will. Unfortunately, this employee's attitude and demeanor are the kind that competitors love to hear about -- the kind that can drive loyal customers away. She appears visibly bothered the moment guests walk in, creating an unwelcoming first impression. I can't imagine we are the only guests who have experienced this.. I would appreciate it if you could contact me directly to discuss this matter further. I am confident you'll want to address this situation to ensure your guests continue to receive the welcoming experience KOA is known for. Thank you for your time and attention.

I thought this would be glamping, meaning, "sleeping in a real bed, but in a tent." And it was. The problem I had was that the bed was tilted or slanted and I woke up with severe back pain in my back. And that is why I docked the star off my review. There was a slug in my cabin. Well, it's camping. So bugs are to be expected. I did like the lamps by either side of my bed. I liked the high tent, so I could walk in there without having to hunch over. I liked the bench at the foot of the bed. I could have used another table too, for putting stuff down. My dog is so small and it would have been nice to let him use that bench to get on the bed, but I used that bench to hold my suitcases up off the floor. I enjoyed the wood walkway up to my glamping tent! It made me feel like I was at the beach. I didn't have to park too far away, so that was good too. We liked the fountain and the walking of the dogs at night and in the morning before we left. It's a nice campground. We weren't there very long. (By "we," I mean my 2 dogs and me.) I hope they figure out foam mattresses for the beds. The type of mattress they have for the bed I slept in has been worn down in the middle and doesn't provide proper support anymore. This is, by the way, a common argument I have about hotels, too: beds being lower in the middle and thus not providing support. If a place is in the business of providing sleep for people would do something to make sure their beds don't slope in the middle - like buy a better mattress that won't break down like that (Purple Mattresses and foam mattresses don't do this), it would be wonderful for the state of folks who are traveling.
