If they feel that they are struggling with your hair, they will ask you if they can put some relaxer on some parts of it to make it easier for them. That happened with my friend (we both went on the same day) and they finally relented after she insisted and said no. That's the only reason why I give it four stars instead of five. I also love how I can get an appointment very early in the morning. I did have to supply my own hair. They're great for styling if you want something really cute. I've since found a beautician that I can call my own, but I will definitely return for the styles that my personal stylist does not specialize in.

Results are good and consistent and she handles my hair with care. I also feel comfortable voicing any questions or concerns about a service or my hair without judgement. The smoothing treatment: After much research and consideration i decided to get the smoothing treatment. I'm so happy with my results!! My hair was silky and kept for well over a week and a half without any additional heat. I took a trip to Italy and even with the rain and humidity it stayed silky. I just used flexirods a few nights and i was good to go. I also got a much needed trim. As usual she laid a white paper behind my hair and confirmed how much she was cutting before she started to make sure i was comfortable with the amount. Post treatment: Even though i loved the results I was nervous about the state of my curls after the treatment, considering my hair stayed so straight for so long. I did read that the treatment stays with you for up to 12 weeks. Curls start out looser then gradually come back. That has completely been my experience. After the first wash my hair curled but looser than usual. Gradually after every wash my hair has tightened more and more. Not completely where it was yet, but I'm also only 4 weeks post treatment. Additionally my hair feels healthy and moisturized. Definitely not damaged or dry. I'm still able to do my same protective styles like twist outs with no issue. Lastly we spoke about an on going plan for my hair. She likes to keep clients hair healthy so she'll only straighten a few times a year and suggested protective styling on other visits. Pictured: There are pictures of me right after the service. Then a few more a week later in Rome.No additional heat at all.

I know businesses are trying to recoup money lost, but I am being charged more and the hairstyle is worse. The front braids always are on point, but the back braids are bigger with crooked parts. She is very friendly and nice to talk to but I need my hair to match what I paid for and it doesn't. If you ask for a pic, that to me indicates you can look at the pic and reproduce the style. Lastly, within days my hair had the frizzies and it is because she did not put gel on the hair as she has done in the past. I believe that will be my last time going there. For my last visit I give 2 stars because after all the money I paid my hair needs to be redone after just a few days.
