Guess I should have read the reviews! The girl that helped us out was great, very helpful. This is not an issue with the staff it is the management. Got a call to pick up my daughters dress. The girl on the phone said come right away or we will have to charge you a storage fee. I thought this a bit bold as they just told me it was in. Upon arrival I watched the girl take it out a plastic bag to put in a garment bag. I said to her wow you didn't steam it? It looks like its been sitting in a ball on the floor. She ignored my comment. She folded the garment bag in half and said make sure to unfold it to hang so you don't get a crease. I laughed and said don't think it could get creased then it is! I sent an email to the store when I got home thinking that this was a mistake that they didnt steam it. (there is a steamer sitting at the front desk) They replied they sell too many dresses and just unpackage them upon arrival. I have been to many stores and never had my garment look like they just unbagged it from shipping. Even cheap stores in the mall dont sell cloths this way. I spent a GREAT deal of money on this dress and expect it to come looking nice. My daughters friend got given the wrong size, I can just imagine the nightmare they are going through. My experience started off a bit rocky, I first took time out of day with my mother to check out their crossiron location which at the time had been closed but wasn't updated as such. I then called another location which confirmed that location was closed, however I could book an appointment at another for a different day. I originally went to the store as they were also ads for a sale in which there wasnt a lot of dresses even on sale. Starting off the appointment I didn't think the ladies working were a huge help but actually more just their yet pushy at the same time. Once I started to try on dresses though and work one on with my stylist Voke, the experience took a turn for the best. She was super helpful getting me in and out of dresses even getting my phone so I could take photos. She wasn't pushy about getting a dress right then and there, but rather informed me of the time next step if I do decide to go with one. I would recommend based on selection of dresses, the girls are helpful enough and nice. Prices are expensive though!. read more

crossiron mills location had the worst customer service I've ever encountered especially with the prices the dresses are. We ordered my daughters dress in September of 2023 for her May graduation. November the wrong dress came in and it was an absolute disaster dealing with different staff to try and get the status on the proper dress. Manager finally called after we had three visits to the store asking. Her dress finally arrived the second week of April, it was way too big. My younger sister found her dream grad dress at Oksana's at Cross Iron Mills on November 3rd. We had to order the larger size and were told that the dress would be in by the end of December. After us politely calling at each pushed back delivery date that they gave us and accepting their excuses that the dress was held up at customs, we finally got a call today... The owner Oksana is a liar, and doesn't apologize for their mistake! They had to order my dress since they didnt have my size, they ASSURED me the dress will be delivered in 2 weeks. Delivery date got pushed back so many times, and A MONTH AND A HALF passed I got a call from them telling me my dress wil be ready for pick up at the Sunridge location. I went there the next day and got told my dress is actually at Cross Iron Mills, fine! drove another 30 mins to Cross Iron just for them to tell me my dress is still at their warehouse and will be delivered in 3 weeks. WHAT?! NO APOLOGIES FROM ANY OF THEIR STAFF EVEN OKSANA THE OWNER. Even told us it's not their fault how could they have known?! Stay away from this store if you don't want to get stressed. They are bunch of lier with very poor customer service. Once they got your money they don't care about you anymore. How important this is to you, reasons why you are spending for expensive dress and how you feel as a customer. They are just nice while they are convincing you buy but after that, if you have problems, not their problems anymore. We came to Sunridge location last Oct 7, 2022 and found a gown for my daughter but not her size. The lady who assisted us said she can order and it will be available for pick up in two weeks. So we push through with the order paid half and was told they will just call us. 1 month has passed no calls from them, so we called them and was told that the estimated arrival is Nov 30. Keep calling them and finally yesterday they said the gown is now at Cross Iron and will be in Sundridge in the morning. Since we are in a hurry as if we need to do some alteration. I told them that we will be there after work. When we got there drove far just to be told the dress is still in CrossIron as the car of whoever broke down. Even asked them to confirmed so we can head to Cross Iron, they got the other half payment so it will ready when we get there. To cut the story short we didn't get the dress was told not yet there still in warehouse with another lies that that did not fit in the car with other dresses. We spoke to the owner if not mistaken, with bad bad service as we are asking to have it delivered for the hassle it caused us and she replied "we are not delivery company" and keep on denying things that really pisses us off and take note no sorries came from their mouth no sympathies, we refund the dress and we will be happy to get the gown elsewhere who are sincere to their customers. read more

the CrossIron Oksana's layout and customer service (or lack thereof) makes it seem like a discount shop, but I found their prices much higher than nicer stores. I would recommend shopping anywhere else if you want something that is good quality and a fair price. I visited the shop in cross iron malls and I am very glad I did. The ladies there were Very helpful and sweet. Shar spent over an hour and a half helping me pick dresses and try them on. I liked so many I had to try and decide, and I wasn't rushed at all. Shar knows her dresses. The dress I chose in the end I didn't even think to try. Shar picked it out for me and it was my favourite One! If you ever are looking a place to go special occasion dress shopping I would definitely recommend Oksana's! read more

Bought a dress that the associate helped my daughter try on .The associate had pinned the dress so I couldn't see all the damage. The tag said four but the dress said 8 on the inside. The bottom of the dress was dirty and the back was ripped. The dress was on"sale" . I knows I had to pay for alterations but had no idea the extent of damage and now I have to pay to get a new dress cleaned overall I will end up paying 500 for this dress. I am so upset . The customer service at Crossiron Mill's was good. I ordered the flower dress for my baby, paid and accepted the NO-refund policy. They said it will take 4 weeks to get the dress in the store. 3 weeks later, they called me and said the designer cannot make the dress for me. They did not apology or explained why they did not call me before. They offered me to go back and pick up another dress!!. Yes,right!! Buyer beware. Oksanas is a huge, made in China rip off store with an absolutely no refund or exchange policy. Assumably due to the fact that so many people want to return the extremely poor quality garbage they realize they had purchased. I purchased a Faux Fur shoulder throw over for my girlfriend, and upon opening it up, it was already coming apart. Typical Chinese, trash quality, garment. I called back to ask about refunding in the same day, unworn, and they were adamant on their no refund policy. Stupid me spent a hundred dollars on something most likely worth 20 bucks. I've never had an truly awful customer service experience until I stepped foot into Oksana's at Sunridge Mall. Today is the day before NYE and me and some girlfriends were looking for cute attire for an event. We saw Oksana's and decided to stroll in. Right away one thing stood out - sales associates acknowledged our presence and then bee-lined to the other side of the store. We saw one dress and then had to locate a hook ourselves to get it down from the top. As we made our way around we saw another dress that caught my eye, but it was behind a bustform so we didn't want to risk an accident and asked a sales associate for help. What does she say? Why do you need this? Are you trying this on for fun. We respond with 'What??', and she responds with 'Why do you need this dress down?'. Confused we explain we just want to see how the dress fits/if my size available. She shot us a dirty look and said 'I can't help you with this, you need to bring someone with you before I can get this dress'... Hold up? Did this associate deny us service based on our appearance/age? Yes. Yes she did. So again we're like what do you mean? She respond that we need to have our parents with us, if we want to try on anything in the store. This is when I got pretty agitated and told her I was an adult. She goes 'How old are you?' and I respond with 'I'm in my twenties' to she she sneers 'Are you really' and the last thing I could really get out was 'Yes. I am. Do you want to see my ID?'. Finally she got the hook and looked for my size, it wasn't there. I tried on the dress I had in my hand, but even if I liked it was totally put off by the poor service/refusal of sales to me and my friends. I actually ended up calling the store afterwards asking to speak to the manager, and of course - the first thing she does is ask me how old I am. Just like the associate. When I explained the whole scenario to me, she just brushed it off like it was no big deal. That they just don't like people coming in trying on dresses with no intention to buy. I explained to her that I wouldn't be shopping there again for obvious reasons. If they keep alienating their target purchasers age, I don't expect this business to stay open much longer. Such a great store with alot of variety and selection of sizes and such friendly staff! I had so much trouble getting ideas of what I wanted for a grad dress, and Jessica was an AMAZING help! She pulled and took away dress after dress for me, heard me helplessly giggle and frantic as I struggled so hard with fitting, and she genuinely laughed at all my sub-par puns and jokes! She helped tie up dresses for me too as I was uncontrollably laughing from embarrassment. She recommended some beautiful shoes for me which matched my grad dress perfectly! Honestly, the best shopping experience I had! Also great deals, I saved almost $300 because of the Black Friday deals. Thank you SO MUCH! Wow! I know that this store has some bad reviews but we went in after a horrible experience grad dress shopping at a different store and we're lucky enough to get Manizha to help us at the Sunridge location. I must admit some of the other sales staff were not as helpful to other people while we were there but this lady was awesome. Found dress after dress that either fit or that she was willing to order for us if it was the right one. She listen to what was wanted and went out of her way to get her into at least 10 different dress and make my daughter feel like she was the most important person in the store at the time, even while she was pulling dresses for other girls. Made sure that we understood that any dress was available if it was the "right one". We found the dress that was perfect for her and didn't even have to alter or change a thing. read more

Heads up shoppers; great displeasure with Oksana's store in Crossiron Mills. Took my daughter there shopping for a grad dress, set a budget and had to find something $200 or under. My daughter had no issue looking thru the sale rack and found 4 dresses to try on, sales woman asked if she could assist us, we explained the budget and she started a change room for my daughter. While she was trying on the 4 dresses she had found within the budget the sales woman brought over another dress and suggested she try it on, it had no price tag on it and when my daughter asked how much it was she said $179 so she tried it on. It turned out to be the one she chose and we went to the cash to purchase. Same sales person goes directly to the rack where she got it and grabs a price from one of the other dresses that was there that were the same - surprise, surprise it was not $179 it was $249!! While my daughter was willing to take one of the other dresses I personally could tell from the look in her eyes how disappointed she was and I could not make her select one of the others.......disgusted with the underhanded sales tactics used by the store to embarrass parents into more costly purchases. I was very proud of my daughter for understanding the restraints of being on a budget and then having it all blown away by shady sales tactics!! A once in a lifetime event and the store takes advantage - disgraceful!!! I highly recommend shopping elsewhere!!! read more

I, too, had a horrible experience with this dreadful company. My daughter is tiny and we knew it was likely that we would have to order in a dress so we started early. She found a dress at the Crossiron location that fit her perfectly (something that we didn't think could happen) but they didn't have the colour she wanted so they said they would order one in for her. It was even on sale within our budget - everyone was happy. The dress would even arrive in time for her grad photos. Fast forward 6 weeks and the dress was "delayed at the manufacturers". 2 more weeks go by (missed the photos) and they say the dress is in. I insist that my girl try it on cause something looks hinky. It is the wrong size (she is swimming in it) and the beading on the dress is obviously wrong. I point out the beading compared to the dress in the store and my girl puts on the sample dress to show them how it should fit. They don't care. They tell me that I "can take my chances with the seamstress" that they use to take in the sides of the dress and the beading can be fixed "because that is why they give you extra beads". I tell them that the whole bodice of the dress would have to be taken apart to deal with the boning and they don't care. My daughter was in tears and they inform us that they can't order in a new one cause the company isn't making them anymore. I ask if there is one at Sunridge or in Edmonton and they finally phone, giving me attitude the entire time. By this time I am losing it. Sunridge has the correct dress so we take our monstrosity there - the woman there recognizes immediately that our dress is incorrectly sized, understands that the dress is difficult to alter, and produces the correct one. This one has been abused a bit and needs some repair but they give it to us for less than half price and refund for the other. If they had told me in Nov that the dress was sitting at Sunridge the whole time, we would have bought it then and avoided the whole mess. Lady at Sunridge gets 5 stars, company would get zero if I could go that low. I even emailed the owner to tell her about my terrible experience and got *crickets*. If you can find your dress and buy it that day, use this store. Otherwise don't bother, it is a total disaster and your special day will be that much more stressful. read more

I have never had a worse experience in my life. My friends and I were looking for bridesmaid dresses for an upcoming wedding. After looking around, I chose a dress to try on. I took it to the sales associate to get a change room started. She read the tag, looked me up and down and blatantly said "this will not fit you, you're too big". I was absolutely mortified and embarrassed. Her response to my friends was "I was being honest". I think this associate needs to learn the difference between honesty and being a bully. Excuse me I'm 6'0" and not rail thin. It was discrimination and I will never shop at any of these stores every again, and will definitely be telling all my friends to stay away. If only I could give this store 0 stars. Sometimes you wonder if you're the only one who has bad experiences at stores, but I guess I'm not the only one after reading the review below. The moment I first walked into Oksana's, i could see that this place wouldn't be worth my time and money. They tell you that all their dresses could be color customized but they say "No" to every single dress we picked. I gave their dresses a few glances and knew it was a waste of time and money but my friends wanted to try them on. They sell their dresses for $100 when you could get it at other stores for $20 or less. Not only that, one of the girls had the nerve to say to one of the people in my party that I was rude when I refused to try on their dresses. This girl looked like she was in her high-school years. I confronted her about this immediately after I found out, and she admitted without any shame. I told her that that she was rude and unprofessional for talking about customers behind their backs especially to their friends but she defended herself with the utmost pride. I asked her "Did I swear at you". She said "No", I said "Did I hit you or abuse you or ruin your dresses?". She said "No", and I said "Then you're just sensitive. Grow up" and I walked right out of that store. This store is obviously family owned so complaining to any management would be a complete waste of your precious time since they take pride in rudeness, unprofessionalism, and over-priced rags that a monkey could put together better with a stick of glue and paper. I suggest going to a store with better quality dresses that hires staff with brains and not some whiny teenager who thinks she is above her customers. read more

I was told the associate from the start that I was looking for a dress for my neice and wanted to take some photographs, she was very generous as I know this is usually against policy in many stores. I took as many pictures as I wanted and the associate told me about their web page, promos and garantees. I treated her with respect and also respected her store and she returned the courtesy. (Oksana's in Crossiron Mills)- A couple of friends and I were looking to try on grad dresses and were told we were only allowed to try on 2. This was at the same time as another girl, who was with her mother, was trying on a lot more than 2 dresses and was even offered shoes and a discount on one of the dresses. The dresses are very nice, however I don't think I will be shopping here ever again based on how we were treated by the employees. They judged us as soon as we asked in the door and basically kicked us out after we had tried on our "limit" of 2 dresses. read more

I have to mention that the Oksana's that we went to was in Cross Iron Mall... I made a trip all the way from Edmonton to Calgary to specifically visit this store so i could find a dress for myself for my sisters wedding and for my 2 junior bridesmaids for my wedding... It was the worst experience i have ever had in a Dress Store.. The ladies did not want to bring dresses down from up high or get different size dresses for us and in general just didn't want to help us at all.. I also found it weird that they would enter the changing rooms while the two children were changing to grab dresses that they had already tried on rather than have the children hand them out to them or wait till they were dressed.. One of the ladies berated the children (who were 7&9) while they were changing in the change room just out of our ear shot.. When our children came out crying they told us what had been said.. The lady had told them to get out and go home, that they were not welcome here... When i asked one of the ladies what the problem was... the reply i got was... You should be ashamed of yourselves... To which I replied... For what? Her response was... For the way you are treating us.. I was baffled... I was gonna spend almost a thousand dollars there and they weren't even helping us.. who was treating whom horribly????... I felt that shoe fit them not us... They had no Customer Service skills at all.. I grabbed our children's hands and walked out of the store... Behind me i could hear the two ladies yelling and screaming at us as i tried to get our children out of ear shot of them.. Our children were bawling hysterically by the time i dragged them out into the mall.. I will NEVER go to this store again or recommend it to anyone else..
