My husband and I decided to take a defensive driving class to reduce are auto insurance. There is plenty of parking in the front of building. They have a website so you can register and pay online. It was a pretty straightforward process, the posted time of class ending was at 3 and we ended at 2pm, the website just needs to be updated. We arrived to our Saturday morning class and when I entered the room, it reminded me of my early elementary days with the desks. The quality of the class was good, the instructor did bring relevant news articles related to the material we were discussing. All the ways things can go wrong when you aren't paying attention. The downside is that the course book is old, torn, some missing pages and the videos were from the 1980s. Overall we will be back in 3 years. read more

My son was yelled at and treated so badly that I will make sure that everyone I come in contact with stays clear of this place. The "instructors" are permitted to eat crackers, give incoherent instruction and then yell that the students for not understanding a mouth full of food. Learning to drive is stressful enough without dealing with rude, incompetent people who wish they no longer had to work. I deal with teenagers everyday and I would be fired if I acted so unprofessional and condescending. This place is directly in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and are putting theirselves in a place to be sued. No one deserves to pay to be treated so badly. read more

The driving instructors are good. The company is garbage. my kid got sick at 2 am throwing up and wasn't able to make a driving appointment. no way to call and get ahold of someone so they automatically add a 105 dollar charge to reschedule. It wasn't possible to give 24 hour notice and no one answered the phones from 8 to 930. I believe they do this on purpose to get a cash grab. No understanding from the company. ODS did a good job helping me get my driving permit and preparing me for my exam. I needed hand controls and they had a car fully equipped to meet my needs. This business might be the only business in Oklahoma requiring children to carry the burden of wearing masks to protect adults. Adults at risk can wear a protective mask (N95) and get one of the widely available vaccines for protection from Covid. They are also using Covid as an excuse to not pick up the students for their drives. I called around to other driving schools and they are meeting students at their homes for drives and masks are optional. There are other choices in Tulsa. We are going to go with Green Light Driving School. Our children have suffered enough. read more

Some of the staff are totally business, read not friendly, but they aren't rude. Both of my children has taken driving through this company. I can't compare with other companies but we were pleased with the outcomes which is both kids got their drivers licenses and we save on auto insurance. The best part is they offer the driving test for the dmv. There is a bit of a charge, $20 I think, but worth not hassling with dmv. After the test you go straight to the tag agency. They keep asking me for reviews, so I guess my first one wasn't good enough. Lol read more

Been very pleased sending two children to driver's education here. The classroom​ instruction is thorough and effective. My kids came away from that with a good foundation to start driving with a permit. The office gives very clear and concise directions for each step of the permitting and licensing process. Oklahoma Driving School is great at preparing you for the permit test. They give you questions directly from the test. My reservation is with the actual driving lessons. If you get the package (which I did), you get four 1.5 hour drives and the instructors spend a lot of that time showing you the mechanisms in the car and talking to you about the test. Basically less drive time than you would think. I would highly recommend reading up on the manual to take the permit test, take one driving class with them so you know what to expect on the test, practice driving with your parents/friends, and take the test with them. read more

The classroom part is good, but they do not prepare you well enough during the driving sessions to pass their own driving test. They now allow you to take the driving test through their school to obtain your license. You have to pay to take the driving part of the test with them, and then if you fail, you have to pay again to take it. Seriously? When THEY are the ones who were supposed to get them ready for the driving test? My daughter failed the driving test after paying $370 for the course plus I believe it was $25 or $30 to take the driving test. She just went to DPS and then took it and passed for free. For the money we paid, they should have taught her well enough to pass. read more

I recommend purchasing the package, then take lessons from different instructors until you find the one that suits you. Each has a different teaching style. Taking the drive test at the school is a must! The stress level is lower because the examiner is not out to fail you and tells you what to expect in advance.
