When I requested the transaction number for the funds transfer after closing on a house, my personal information was emailed to both myself and the real estate agent. This included the entire "secure" transfer document with name, bank account information, Tax ID number, etc. It ended up with me having to close the bank account and reopen a new account with a new account number. I have very little confidence this company will keep personal information safe and secure based on what happened. I would not use this company again as they did not seem to be concerned about sharing my personal and banking information. read more

I sold a ranch and a mobile home and a house and bought a house in Stillwater and Glencoe areas. We used this brokerage firm each time. Every time I've gone in things have been professional and efficient. One time we needed additional documentation. My husband was able to call the bank and get the info faxed. Buy if he didn't have a personal relationship with his loan person at the bank we might not have been able to close that day. It was an oversight, a near miss that just made some delays. The office is easy to find and the parking is non metered and not covered. The receptionist keeps fresh cookies out, always, plus water and mints. The plush chairs look nice, but there wasn't enough seating at one of my my more complicated exchanges. (Several parties were represented, buyers, seller, executor of the estate. I have used them a lot but in the past year it seems like they have gotten sloppy in their work and present problems that need to be fixed on the day of closing after they have had a month to work on the closing. That just doesn't seem right to me. These problems should have been caught well into the second week. This is an indication to me that they have shelved the deal and not looked at it closely until the last minute. Even after I called the week before closing to be sure we were on track. read more

Obviously, they do not understand the concept of closing. When you close BOTH parties come prepared to close. If the title company doesn't have the papers for the other side, you postpone the closing! What you DON'T do it close one side, refuse to produce the check to the buyers, but send payments to everyone else, then go home for the day without finishing, leaving the buyers to wonder if they own the house in case of any problems or they don't. Be safe - find ANY other closing company or at least as them this elementary question: "Honey, is everyone ready to close today?" read more
