Never again. When I arrived I was the only one in the waiting room. I was told by two staff members sitting in the registration area that I would have to have a seat and wait about 15 minutes because the registration person was on a break. I sat there listening to them talk about what lousy sleep they had the night before and how tired they were. The registrar returned about 20 minutes later and checked me in. During that wait I also listened to the "provider" talk on the phone t a patient who was obviously concerned about an antibiotic she was prescribed. I couldn't believe a medical profession could speak so rudely to a patient. Out of the five staff members I came in contact with the Nurse was the only one that showed any professionalism and compassion. The "provider" was a nightmare. It was like dealing with a perky 13 year old and after being sick for a week I was in no mood. There was not an ounce of professionalism or compassion. She was sending a prescription to the local pharmacy. It was not received by then later that day. I called and left a voicemail. Checked with the pharmacy the next day and still not received. Called the clinic and was told the "provider" said she had sent it to them. I explained that I was just told they did not have it and by the way, do you check your voicemails? Was told she would ask the provider if she would call it over to the pharmacy. Over 24 hours later I'm still waiting for the pharmacy to notify me they have it. Absolute worst medical experience I've ever had. Never again. Okeechobee desperately needs a new Urgent Care facility read more

I had been having a terrible sore throat. It continued to get worse and on a Sunday- I went in and was kindly greeted by Ashley- She was so attentive and caring. I was seated fairly quickly and tests were performed. I was treated in the office with an injection. I loved how I was prescribed and issued medications in the office. The assistant was very caring. I highly recommend this urgent care facility. Mary A read more

Driving through this town and had a health issue. There was plenty of staff and they saw me fast. Very friendly staff.

Sadly this place has changed.. not for the better.. out to only make money.. I have gone there for my cdl Physical for more then the past 10 years it was always professional. So since I've moved to nj last year came here to Okeechobee for my physical . Was very happy..! This year I drove down here for my physical, they have changed. Was rushed thru I had pre taken my blood pressure throughout the morning it was well within range.. most staff that was there I've never seen before.. actually all the staff. Felt rushed thru the process.. took my blood pressure claimed it was 196/119?? I wouldn't be sitting there feeling just fine if it was that!!!.. another came in.. I explained no way I feel fine and with that number I surely wouldn't..!.. She took it.. she had a reading of.. 150/90 quit a difference!!! But immediately said it's over I can't certify.. that was it.. $100.00 see ya later?? In my past experience in that office .. they took it.. if it was lil elevated.. they took a second time. Then they'd say ok .. sometimes the process makes people anxious.. I'll give ya a minute and come back.. then it'd be fine.. I was here many times both with Sheriff dept and School.. now on my own.. due to their professional service.. obviously no longer there.. I paid my $100.00 and left... as soon as I got home took Blood Pressure.. 138/72... again And again.. all within range...well won't be making a trip back to Florida just for them again... horrible. .. sad to see the change in this place.. they've lost their personal touch! read more

April 11 2023 - I had a very positive experience. The staff was very friendly, prompt, caring and professional. In the past I have had not so nice of staff but they have made some great changes. I definitely recommend. read more

This place will do it's job. However, do NOT come here if you don't want to be waiting for 2 hours. I got here at 5:30pm and it is 2 minutes until closing time and I am still waiting in a room for the doctor as I type this out. If I'd have known this I would've just drank a few bottles and knocked out and called it good. This place sucks, don't go. read more

I had been fighting a bad cold and while in Okeechobee for work I decided to stop in to see if I could see a provider. I stopped in, filled out my paperwork, and was taken back in 5 minutes - was totally shocked. The NP I saw ( I think his name was Dan) was professional yet approachable, and I felt he did a very thorough job taking my history, doing an exam, and figuring out what was wrong with me physically. Best of all they took my insurance and didn't hassle me about my co-pay (most urgent cares make me pay the full price and submit a claim to my insurance). Great care and great staff! read more

I would give a 0 if I could at this point. Went to get a Covid test on Saturday and was told to come back Tuesday because of Labor Day. I came back Tuesday around 10AM and was told to wait in my car which I don't mind, it's the fact I waited in my car 3 hours and every time I asked how many people were in front of me no one told me a number, the lady at the front just said quite a few every time... literally like they don't want to help at all. I mean really how many people and hours does it take to swab someone's nose for 30 seconds. Now I have to look to drive to a different city to get a rapid test to show my employer...DO NOT COME HERE!! They'll have you waiting to never be seen. read more

I was treated great by everyone who worked there. First time ever going to an Urgent care and I was very impressed. Had I gone to my primary care doctor, she would probably still be running tests. They have x ray machine in house, so it saves time and money. read more

This clinic is a joke!!! I was VERY disappointed in the professionalism of ALL of the staff; from the receptionist to the Doctor. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:30 am, I was put into an exam room at 11:45 am! Why make an appointment ??? Also, I addressed all of my concerns and reasons for being there (3), but only ONE symptom was discussed because the Doctor was in a hurry. And she NEVER introduced herself so I do not know her name!!! I called the next day to reiterate one of the symptoms, and was told to go to the local Emergency room. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING HERE!!! read more

Unkind manager and receptionist staff, they do not seem to prioritize patient care. The provider I saw stated in the office that she would call in a certain prescription then sent in a completely different one, so I tried it anyways and it did not work for me so I called (2 weeks later) to have the one that she said while in the office sent in and they would not let me speak with the provider or send in the correct prescription unless I paid my co-pay again. read more

My husband took my son(9yrs old) in on Saturday because of a broken hand. He walked in, didnt have the insurance card as we were not home when he hurt himself, and the very rude lady at the front desk told my husband he just needed the id number on my sons insurance card so he called me and when he got a way to look it up she then said "no I need to see the insurance card because I need to see the photo id on it".... 1.) I have never heard anyone say that. 2.) There is no photo id on it. Luckily my husband went and not myself. But he took my son to the ER at raulerson and was in, well taken care of, and out. It was about 20 minutes to closing time for them on saturday but if they dont want to stay open and work until it is closed then they should close earlier. Or put a sign out that says yes we are open but it's almost closing time so dont come in. read more

While in Florida for 2 months my hip and leg began to hurt terribly. I went to this clinic and I have never had such a terrible experience with any doctor. The doctor who I saw was the rudest, uncaring, negative person I have ever seen. He sarcastically told me to just go to the hospital and have surgery or I would not be able to walk. I would not recommend this place if you are pain. He refused to do anything to help me. read more

I am not going to return because after 4 visits for the same problem and being treated so negatively on the 4th visit, I'm done and have gotten recommendations for 2 doctors in town from the teachers at my school. Today I wondered why one of my asthma meds was always running out (it's NEVER happened before) and found that it wasn't prescribed as I told the doctor that it was for the past 35 years from my doctor in Michigan and this is why I'm running out. It is a vital med as it keeps my bronchial tubes open. I was also refused my nebulizer meds being refilled in August when I was in for my YEARLY meds to be refilled. I've never had an issue with these meds being refilled. My nebulizer is used when my rescue inhalers aren't working and my asthma attack won't settle down, then I use my nebulizer. I was told by the doctor that I should come in when I need my nebulizer meds while I'm having an attack and he will fill it. Well when this is occurring it will be too late to drive 15 minutes into Okeechobee to get my asthma nebulizer meds to calm my attack down. I told the doctor that my asthma is severe and that means that it escalates quickly. I see how problems are reacted to in reading other people's responses in which the blame is put back onto the patient. I expect that the same will happen with this and like I said, I have already contacted a doctor's office for care. The office manager (the fellow who wore the shirts and sat behind the counter in the back) was also rude. I did always have an excellent experience with the front desk staff and the medical assistants along with Eric. I agree with others who say that the doctor is rude and uncaring as that was my experience with the doctor. I would rather see the PA's than the doctor as they were helpful. I've never experienced a doctor who automatically assumes that a patient who comes in with a problem is searching for meds. read more
