McDermott also told me that I needed a brake fluid flush, which Paul said was not necessary. McDermott also quoted me over $500.00 for a cracked coolant reservoir, where as Paul was able to do it for just over $300.00. Superior Auto tells it like it is - they will not get you for unnecessary work. Forget McDermott Motors! Hello Superior Auto and hello Paul! First off my daughter has told me she never asked for this to be done. Secondly, it takes about 5 seconds to reset the warnings. Thirdly, the Audi has about 250,000 kilometers on it and has the oil changed every 5,000 kilometers. If there was an issue it would have been dealt with before. Brought my son's car in about five months ago for what I thought was a bad wheel alignment but it turned out to be really bad tire wear on some cheap tires my son bought causing vibration on the drive. It could have been a bad accident waiting to happen. New tires fixed that issue and my son's car rides smooth again. Ian, the mechanic, also reminded him to make sure he rotates his tires regularly. I recently came in for maintenance codes coming up on my car requiring inspection of all hoses, levels, exhaust, fuel lines, suspension and brakes. I thought this is really going to be an expensive one but the call came in and they said everything was good. All I needed was the oil change. All hoses, lines etc... were still in good shape for my 5yr old car. The Internet is full of articles about how to find a good mechanic. I found one.

No matter if you know anything about cars this shop is the place to at least get a quote.
