This week, tired of the VW Service up-charges and ridiculously high repair rates I decided to get an honest quote from Electro. I've been bringing my cars to Tony for at least 10 years and I'm always confident that I'm getting the honest truth about what my car needs. If something has another 6 months life in it, he gives me the choice of fixing it now or waiting a bit longer. Repairs are also done right the first time, unlike at the dealership where most of the work is done by apprentices. (I've had some bad experiences with VW). T&M Auto is a small shop with highly skilled mechanics you can trust. If you decide to give them a try, please tell Tony Michelle sent you :)

The fellow at this place is a knowledgeable, professional and personable gentleman. He fixed what two mechanics previous to him could not find, a bad wire from the camshaft sensor to the computer in my good ol' 2006 Dodge Caravan. And as a senior with limited income, I was so happy with the very reasonable fee he charged. I'm not going to say how much because every car and every repair job is different and I don't want to set any expectations, but it was a lot less than I thought I'd have to pay. My van is just purring now. :-) I would definitely go here again and I'd also recommend the place without hesitation.

The cars have been really good and they stand by what they say when they do any of the repairs. One of the main things I like there is how smart they are when it comes to finding good prices for parts. They are very upfront there when explaining what's going on. Basically, the drill is sit there comfortably in the waiting room watching CP24 on their television, and a little while later your car will be done right and ready. Good place!

The main man here is named Shaun, he is a racially ambiguous man (in the Asian sense) who carries a remarkably laid back demeanor. I have been here for numerous oil changes back when I used to drive Japanese cars. It never takes this location more than 45 minutes to change my oil, and then do a quick examination. During that time, I shoot over across the street to the Starbucks, order myself something I never drink regularly, and stare out into the street empty-headedly. I got my old Acura's bumper fixed here a week after someone rear-ended me. It didn't cost me too much. The service is very trustworthy. Most automobile related tasks can be done here, and it's convenient being able to get a quote very quickly and honest work done for a reasonable price. Turns out it was just the thermostat and he fixed it for me for quite a bit of money. My check engine light came back on when I was 3 hours north and my engine temperature was almost red lining. The owners only suggestion was that I tow it down to their shop, right... he refused to accept any fault. Luckily, a mechanic friend diagnosed that the engine was missing about 2 L of coolant and Jane Park likely didn't purge and refill the coolant reservoir when complete. Again, Jane Park refused to accept any fault. He told me to bring it back in so they could check everything out again. He charged me for a new coolant cap, wouldn't even throw that in as goodwill. Keep in mind I'm 8.5 months pregnant at this time and he couldn't even throw me a bone, considering I was stranded 3 hours away from home. Won't go back.
