I was supervising a film crew that we hired for this project that we had for work a couple months back, and we were doing our production in a studio in Hobbies of Asia. I had to take a break and as I as walking around looking for something to eat, I chanced upon OK Mart, which is a small Korean grocery and convenience store. Any Korean convenience store is a happy discovery for me, since i have this unhealthy obsession with ramyun, which usually comes in those inexpensive instant noodle bowls.
I immediately proceeded to filling my basket with several Shin Cups , and on my way to check out, I walked by an aisle that has plenty of cute Korean biscuits and snacks. I wanted to try everything and since I had an expense budget for snacks for the crew, I bought a bit of everything. It was all snacks and munchies in different flavors and textures, but everything was great. I enjoy discovering new favorites every time I walk into a Korean grocery store, and I guess part of the appeal is sort of like digging into a box of Bertie Botts Every Flavored Beans - you won't know what you're getting.
