There are around 10 Ojo de Agua locations in Mexico City and this one is probably my least favorite. I've been to just about all the others, which I love, and there's just something about this one that is ... off. The ambiance and the food, notably. The service is fine, but the food tastes and is presented differently here than at other locations. For example, the enchiladas suizas at this location come in a skillet topped with cheese whereas at the location on Juan LaFontaine they come on a plate without cheese on top.
In most chains/restaurant groups, one can expect consistency, but not here.
One major pro to this location is there is plenty of parking out front and on the side street. This one is definitely situated in a less busier part of the city. read more
