I was pleasantly surprised, even shocked, when Nate, an employee came over to assist. "Are you going to help me?" I ask. ... "that's what I'm here for", and he promptly put air in all the tires. Warning light disappeared ... and I am delighted this kind of service still exists in a local gas station. Ojai is a special place with a wonderful service station. The male employee participated with her and both seemed to be oblivious that I was still standing at the counter 2 feet from the both of them. When I looked at my ticket, I could see that "Diamond" had originally been written down and then scratched out, with "Chief Peak" circled instead - a service that runs around $40. I have a photo of the ticket showing exactly that. I asked the attendant, who I always confirm the service with, whether I had gotten the Diamond. He said no, this was the same wash I always get. When I brought the discrepancy to Jo Anne, she seemed to coach the attendant into saying I got what I paid for, which wasn't true. The interior wasn't even properly cleaned- crumbs and debris still in the center console tray, visible dust and specks on the seats and between the seats (photos attached). The exterior looked no different than it would have after a $40 Chief Peak. I spent about ten minutes trying to sort it out and got nowhere. An hour and a half wait, $130 out the door, for a 30-minute, $40-level service. Really frustrating . I won't be back, and I wish there were more car wash options in town.
