I took it to another mechanic, who showed me that parts had not been tightened correctly, causing a severe oil leak. If a shop can't properly handle something as basic as an oil change, I definitely wouldn't trust them with anything more serious. To make matters worse, they cancelled my original appointment last minute with no consideration for my time. Overall, the experience was frustrating, careless, and stressful. As a woman, I honestly felt like if I had brought the car back to them, they may have tried to take advantage of the situation instead of taking accountability. Save yourself the trouble and go to Allen's Wrench or even Walmart across the street for an oil change instead. This place is ridiculous.

The staff has always seemed honest in their recommendations and willing to suggest practical options that work with your budget, which makes a big difference. The waiting area can get very busy I've seen it completely full at times but it's comfortable enough, with snacks and drinks available for purchase, and the bathrooms have always been clean during my visits. I also appreciate that they make an effort to keep customers informed and contact you promptly once your vehicle is ready. The only downside is that loaner vehicles are never guaranteed, which can be inconvenient depending on the repair. Overall, great service and a trustworthy experience. There is was a rental for a fee!

Review for tire center…read more Contacted them multiple times by email, text, and phone and received no response. We were approached by them during a service by Carl. Carl advertised that they price match so we should do our tires with them. Thought it was a good deal until we brought our car in to get new tires only to find out they don't honor their price match bc they make you add on their "warranty" without choice which other tire shops don't. So you have to add the "warranty" from the other shop and coupons don't apply to get the total price. We already brought our car in at this point and didn't want to hassle bringing it another place, don't got time for that but if they answered one of our communications then we would have known that prior and ended up getting our tires at Discount tires. Even with their buy the 4th tire free, they aren't lower in price. I'd be okay with it if the service was better, but their service is also worse. Moral of story don't get tires here and I'm sure discount tires can do it much faster and they have lower alignment prices too if you need that. I've also had issues with their service center in the past but unfortunately they are the ones with appointments slots available versolus other Toyota centers.

When she returned home to Washington an axle seal was leaking transmission oil. The shop had told her they would warranty the work even though we live in Washington. When I contacted the shop they said if I could bring the car in they would replace the seal but would not cover work done in Washington. We are not going to drive 2,500 miles to and back from the shop to have a seal replaced. The man at the shop said it was of no benefit to him to pay for repair since we did not live in Vista and were not local customers. He also said we should just live with the leak and keep check on the oil level. We didn't get the golden wrench we got the golden screw.

Robert!!! What a down to earth and honest human being. I…read morecalled to get a second opinion on some axle issues my van had been having, and he told me to come down right away. He was able to prove to me with 100% certainty that the axle was the issue, and he even showed it to me. He only was going to replace one, and when I noticed the rubber boot on the other one was becoming dry, I asked him he could just change that one too. Moral of that story- HE WASN'T TRYING TO PUSH ANYTHING EXTRA ON ME. While I waited for the other guy (Jerry) to do my axles, Robert offered to buy me food. We walked across the street and he bought me a breakfast burrito.. like WHAT! So kind!! Unfortunately, when the axles were done, he noticed a coolant leak coming down from my van. He said... that wasn't good. And I shouldn't be taking any long trips with a leak like that (I was supposed to be driving to Arizona the next day). He said my water pump was bad and it would be smart to replace it before driving a long ways. Unfortunately again, the part only comes in a kit with the timing belt, and that sh$& is EXPENSIVE. But... it had to get done. So I told him to go ahead and order the part, let's knock this bi$ch out, even though I knew it would be expensive. I didn't want to risk anything happening on my road trip. He and his team were able to get it all done same day, which is extremely impressive considering all the work. There's a TV in the lobby, so I just netflixed and chilled all day haha. I would recommend everybody go to these people. They are super helpful and thoughtful. Robert even showed me what he was doing along the way, so I could get an accurate picture of what was wrong, what the parts looked like, etc. Although I was there for just short of 10 hours, I would have done it again knowing how well I was taken care of.
