The backstory here is I was getting my oil changed a couple of months back. The Goodwrench auto shop said my back brakes were getting low and if I didn't get the brakes replaced soon I would wear through the pads and do more damaged than I wanted to. So naturally I asked around and got reccomended to Sunset Auto. Dropped my car off in the AM, got a call mid day letting me know my brakes were just fine. He said they were far from replacement and I had nothing to worry about. Picked my car up expecting to pay a good service fee for them taking a look at the car...the fee was a lot less than I had expected. Good, hardworking, honest people. You can't ask for much more when you entrust someone to take care of your multi-thousand dollar investment. He could have gone ahead and replaced the brakes like I had asked him to. But he took a look at everything and gave me a straight answer. All my car repairs will now go to Sunset.

When I moved to Hartford, I expected the same situation as it's a widespread issue. However, I have nothing but kudos to give to D and D. Words cannot express how much I appreciate that I can get what I needed taken care of, and no one tries to upsell me when I pick it up.
