The owner, Rodney, showed up personally and on time, to talk to me about what I wanted, and look over my home. He promptly prepared a set of bids - a high, medium and low option, and explained the benefits and limitations of each. I ended up hiring Banks to do the work. The crew showed up on the designated day, again on time. The work was done quickly and professionally, and the installation passed city inspection the first time through. I especially appreciated the fact that Banks handled everything for me - the permit application, and even the rebate forms for the manufacturer, city, and utility company. Rodney was totally responsive whenever there was something I needed. The heating and air conditioning system they installed has functioned flawlessly. This is a 2nd-generation, family-owned company based here in Lake City. I can't say enough good things about them.

My experience with their plumbers however has been entirely different. Avoid plumbing jobs with this company!!! They didn't seal the connections on my water heater correctly. They tried once to fix it and made it worse. And once I noticed they didn't fix it, which was admittedly a little long, they wouldn't stand behind their work

The a/c stopped working and they no longer service my area. I had a Lennox provider come out that they recommended, and he stated the install was faulty, completely missing a step in sealing the joint on the copper. When I called K and S they said it wasn't their installer's fault and I couldn't prove it. What it comes down to is this is a POOR company that DOES NOT stand behind the work of the people that install their products. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING if you know what's good for you!
