Over the years, I've enjoyed many different services from massages, massages with cupping, regular facials, and hydrafacials -- every experience has been amazing. Maria Elena's kind and gentle manner instantly makes you feel comfortable and cared for. The spa itself is beautiful and conveniently located right downtown with easy parking. Their flexible hours work perfectly with my busy schedule, and the front desk staff is always so friendly and polite. The prices are very reasonable, and it's such a blessing to have true 5-star services right here in Hollister without having to drive out of town. The spa is beautiful inside with a warm Tuscan feel. Belinda gave me a Deep Tissue Massage that was amazing. She is very strong, and thorough, targeting a number of needed spots. The massage room was so nice at a comfortable temperature with the added bonus of warming pads for your back, neck and stomach that were the icing on the cake. Belinda was lovely, professional and quiet during the massage so I could just focus on relaxing and enjoying the experience. I will look forward to my next visit and I hope it will be very soon.

As someone who can go into analysis paralysis when looking at walls of colors, having a few books to choose from was super helpful. Overall the salon was super clean and the staff was very friendly! As someone who lives on the East Coast, I really wish I could come here more often. This was the first salon I've been to in months where you can tell everyone is proud of their work. The last two pedicures I've had, someone has nipped me with a cuticle cutter because you could tell they were rushing, but not here! Next time I am in Hollister, I can't wait to get another pedicure! I do want to note that I was a walk-in and waited to be fit into their schedule, which I completely understood once I learned they primarily operate by appointment. I was patient and waited my turn. Unfortunately, my visit didn't go as expected. Shortly after my service began, another client came in with a complaint, and the technician assisting me stepped away to address it. While I understand that situations come up, there was no clear communication about how long it would take or whether I was okay waiting. This left me sitting for an extended period with my service only partially started. From the beginning, the service already felt a bit rushed, and the interruption made it difficult to continue since I was on a time constraint. When I expressed that I needed to leave and asked to have the product removed, I felt somewhat questioned rather than understood. I was told the nail protection that had been started was good for my nails and encouraged to keep it, but one thumb had builder gel unfinished, which didn't feel right to leave as is. To clarify, the only thing applied was the beginning of a nail protector (as explained to me), along with one thumb started with builder gel. The manicure itself was never completed there was no soaking, cuticle care, or full service performed. Despite this, I was still charged for a manicure or a portion of it, which didn't feel appropriate given how little of the service was actually done before the interruption. I also left feeling a bit uncomfortable, as if I was being judged for needing to leave or for being direct about my time constraints. I don't feel clients should have to push or repeatedly explain themselves in situations like this, especially when the delay was outside of their control. I do appreciate that the owner apologized at the end, and I'm sharing this feedback simply to raise awareness of how this experience felt as a new client. I truly hope that in the future there can be more communication, understanding, and consideration for clients' time and situations.
