The fact that it is an oasis in the middle of cornfields is just a bonus. First of all the beer is good. Mostly mild, no doubt there for the big label drinkers, but a solid IPA Anchors it for those of us micro lovers. First time I went I did the 3 1/2 miles of gravel road on my triumph... and it was worth it. The next night I went back in my 4x4 so I could take home some pizza and gifts. So far I've had the three meat mac & cheese, pretzels and beer cheese are awesome, and I got to take home a chicken bacon Alfredo pizza, although I really wish I would've tried the sausage and kraut pizza, I might have to go back one more time. The service was outstanding, especially considering people are lined up throwin their money at these folks. Well done ladies

The food was beyond what I was expecting. The cheeseburger was nicely cooked but the best part was the french fries. Fresh cut and fried to perfection. The owners were really wonderful people too. The only thing I think they need is some makers mark whiskey. I was having a hankering for some makers mark.

The place is completely decked out with Coca-Cola memorabilia, some of it vintage authentic stuff! The menu is substantial for a tiny little diner, and prices are an expensive. Most of the items on the menu are intimately linked to the grill or a deep fat fryer; not that this is a bad thing. I had a great burger here, curly fries, and a big Coke. The kids got an early dinner of fried chicken sandwiches, strips, tots, all the good stuff. One of my favorite things about traveling cross country has stopping in small towns to meet the folks who live here, work here, and provide for wary travelers like me and my family. Genuinely good people, and I haven't met a stinker yet. Notably, they had hours of operation on the door, breaking my theory that Bubba's Anytime time was a 24 hour joint. But man, I'm glad it was open as we passed through town, and before we knew it, the place was in the rearview, our memories, and our hearts. Just might find a reason to drive through Strang again sometime in the future.
