I was not able to make that trip immediately, so the appointment was scheduled for 8:00 am the following day. The good news is that the retina specialist saw no reason for concern. Huh? The office staff gets 5 stars. Both individuals were pleasant, efficient, and exceedingly helpful. Dr. B was not. To be kind, I would give him 2.5. Why? My daughter was in the lobby (we had driven separately). She has participatesd in all of my (rare) medical appointments and has always been considered part of my team and never given the cold shoulder. When I told Dr. B that she had arrived he would not permit her to join me - until he was, for all practical purposes, done. For those reasons, I'm seeking a new provider.

She really listened to my complaints and ended up ordering some different diagnostic tests that revealed an underlying cause to my symptoms. The prior doctor just wanted to treat the symptoms without looking for the underlying condition. I'm very thankful to her for caring so much about her patients that she went the extra step in my case!

I had to reschedule because they wouldn't bill me my copay. I just wasn't prepared with enough cash on hand at the time. So instead of sticking with my regular appt, I was told to reschedule and I kind of walked out angry, wishing she was a little more understanding or nicer about the situation. Anyway, I won't let that one employee make the whole facility lose a star in the rating because besides that situation, everything else has been awesome. Dr. Agnone was very accommodating and very knowledgable about my eye health.
