The prices are very reasonable and they generally show up when they say they will show up and finish the project when it should be done. When time is of the essence I put that into the contract and they adhere to it. Here are some of the projects that they have done for us: 1) built a privacy fence between us and our neighbors so we would not have to look at the junk car and other mess in the yard; 2) Built an aluminum chain-link enclosure fence with gate around our backyard so our doggies can run around safely; 3) installed a new garage door and garage door opener; 4) installed a shut off valve in the basement; 5) installed a new kitchen sink disposer; 6) totally remodeled our guest bathroom including replacing the old tub with a glass enclosed walk-in shower; 7) Re-caulked all of the doors and windows in our house; 8) Installed new water lines to the washing machine; 9) demolished and rebuilt stairs leading from the house onto the deck; 10) Replaced the kitchen sink faucet and sprayer; 11) many other projects.

I contacted Corrie E Palmer about simple handyman jobs around my house and Corrie E Palmer deceived me by basically pretending to be his father who is the drywall and plaster repair contractor. Wilbur Palmer returned my phone calls quickly, he showed up on time to quote me the work that I wished to have done. Very knowledgeable about his work and works efficiently. He is the type of person that you could trust in your home. Don't get these two Mr. Palmers confused like I did and get swindled like I did by Corrie E Palmer. They are nothing alike. I have been trying to re-stain my bedroom door for a while now and finally had to accept that…read morealthough I am good at a number of things in life, this was not one of them. I was sanding down the parts of the door that my dog had scratched, re-stained the entire door multiple times allowing lots of time between coats, and it just kept drying as a patchy, unsightly mess. It doesn't sound like much but it's on the main floor of my single-level house and I was embarrassed when people would visit and have to pass by it on the way to the restroom. I searched on Yelp, as I always do, for a professional to do this job and I really liked Josh talking about the mission of his company to provide for his son, along with his excellent reviews, so I reached out. He was super responsive and was able to provide me with a quote based on photos. His quote was based on a per hour rate which always concerns me a bit because you can get contractors taking advantage of that and artificially extending their time, but he gave me a range of expected hours and said the job would not go more than $350 regardless of how much time he spent. I appreciated that upfront approach and we agreed on a day for him to start. He came over two days to do the main part of the job and I could see why it took so long as he really did it properly, sanding the door down to the dry wood and starting from scratch, which obviously was my mistake and took a whole lot of time. He did the job very professionally, removing the door from the hinges and setting it up on stands in my garage. After the door was completely dry, he planned to stop by an extra time for just a couple of minutes to put it back on its hinges, and we encountered a problem where the door, which is very old, had come apart a bit at the edges from the sanding and wouldn't close once put back on. Josh was completely unwilling to accept this as an end result and took it off again to address the problem using wood glue and clamps. Including drying time, this resulted in a couple of extra visits to my home at no extra charge, simply because he wanted to make sure the job was worthy of his five-star reviews. I was impressed with his work and his work ethic, and he more than deserves that five-star review. I won't hesitate to hire him in the future. Thanks, Josh!
