Now, this is November, and it's hot and in the 80's. As such, the drying process needs to be quick, thorough, and complete before turning the vehicle over to the owner. I had question one of the employees working on my vehicle about the water spots on the right side of my windshield. No big deal, could have been an oversight. He went to get the manager. My guess the employees are required to or English was likely their second language. The woman walked over, and before I could finish saying that it's just water spots on the windshield. She cut me off, and started justifying the spots as being the result of my irrigation system spraying and causing hard water spots and they don't come out. Well, not great customer service. She was curt, sounded annoyed, and wanted to simply dismiss me without any help. I got annoyed, let her know that I've always found her disengaged and hard to deal with. Her customers are not her concern or focus....its production. She should not be interacting with customers, very unqualified to communicate with people. I did go home and did research and found a way to get the water spots out. Though if it were from a sprinkler system, the spots would be all over the hood, door, etc. This was only in the very corner of the windshield above where the wiper runs. The staff here is great, friendly and work hard. This woman is just a hard ass with no class. Also, I don't park near my irrigation system. You know why? I live in one of the condo buildings downtown and park in a garage. Dismissive woman. So, if she sees this, which I doubt, she should have known there are products that remove hard water stains. Chemical Guys at Advance Auto Parts is great because it works on glass, paintwork and polished metal (just my experience, not a product promotion) or just plain auto wax. Anyway, I found another two car washes with better reviews than Johnny's. Johnny's is an assembly line, bad location, and over-worked employees. Oh, and I paid to get my front and back floor mats done, but only the front were washed.

Big smile, freeing energy, and just genuinely cares about people. You can tell right away he takes pride in what he does and in making sure every customer feels welcome. It feels like a factory of clean cars and freedom. Also...this man is as tall as a giraffe, impossible to miss, and he gave my Chevy Spark the kind of appreciation it deserves. She's a stout little unit, he said I should put a big block in her some day. Ole spark would look like a squirrel with too many nuts in its cheek. He's definitely right though. Squirrel gotta get his nut. At the end of the day I Instantly knew I was in the right place. You will be too because those guys love what they do! In a world where customer service feels like it's disappearing, Cleetus is the real deal. Hes friendly, respectful, hardworking, and just an all around great American. Every single person who came in after me had their car finished before mine. After a half and hour I walked back there and my car had not even run through the automatic car wash! It seems like once you pay for the monthly membership, you are put in the back of the line. I don't have the time to waste on this, and there are a lot of employees there, but seems like no one is working together. We will not be signing up next year!

I only use the soap spray, foam brush, and rinse, then I pull into one of the spaces outside to hand dry the car. In the past this car wash has been pretty good. The equipment wasn't exactly new, but it wasn't worn out and failing. However this last trip in March 2025 I experienced a few issues. I'm wondering if the place was purchased sometime over the past year because I've been going here since around 2012 and I've never had these kind of problems before. First, the spray hose sprung a leak about 2/3 of the way through my wash. The equipment should be inspected regularly and if it looks like it's worn out, never mind about to fail, replaced. So I moved to another stall. However this stall would not accept payment. A failing hose is one thing, but how does a business not maintain their payment systems? Very weird. Finally I moved to a third stall and was able to finish. I inspected the equipment in this last stall and gotta be honest, it was due for some new hoses, brush, etc. which really makes me wonder if someone is keeping up with the place at all anymore. I also noted that the last stall had some debris left over, including a large sheet metal screw. I threw that out and checked carefully around my car, throwing out a few other non-puncturing items. I doubt any of these places examine the stall every time someone uses it, but there was also nobody around running the place so there was no chance of any employee clearing the debris (around 9:00 AM). I do not use the vacuum cleaner. I had no issue when drying the car, but that's basically just a parking spot. I really like this car wash since I can wash the car myself, but now I'm concerned that it's not being maintained. I'll be back again in December so I'll check it out again at that time, but if not I'll have to find another one.
