Sit and Stay Pet & House Sitting Services

When I was looking for a service to care for my two cats while I was going to be away I contacted…read moreSit & Stay. They made arrangements to have Molly and, I believe, Christine come to my home to meet the kids. So, while I was interviewing them they were interviewing the cats. I finally took the plunge and signed up. It was fantastic----knowing the kids were going to have food, water, clean boxes and plenty of attention. I say plenty knowing full well that 24 hours of continuous petting and cuddling is barely meeting the minimums as far as the cats are concerned. However, when I got home they were content and happy and well fed. Molly was kind enough to send me text messages and photos of the kids while I was gone so I knew they had really been there---lol---and let met see I was not being missed much. The security of knowing these ladies will come in and care for the cats is a tremendous relief for me and makes it possible for me to do some traveling. One of the really neat things was they were already well known in my apartment complex as they visit some other pets here - so my apartment manager knew them. And gave me good reports on them before I signed up. I will certainly recommend Sit and Stay to anyone who needs pet care from caring qualified professionals.

Outstanding service. Without any hesitation, set up a call with Catherine. She'll come to your home…read moreto meet you and your pets and from the moment she walks in you'll be impressed with her character and exceptional organization. We were lucky enough to work with Catherine several times - the first a weeklong trip followed by two days here and there. We have three (spoiled) rescue cats. We switched to wet food and they're fed twice daily. I thought she would be coming by to hit the litter box and feed them, but she also has a list of things she'd do each visit: Play time, love, etc. Just when my mind would start to wander and wonder how my furballs were doing, she would send a quick text and a pic of our little pride. For each day she came, she provided a list of what was accomplished and a brief summary re: their behavior. Bonus: she's an energy healer. Who doesn't want someone like that taking care of your cats? Why didn't I make energy healer/cat sitter my career path? I digress. The only downside is she's wise enough to not cross the bridge and we just moved to Portland. If you're in Vancouver - set up the consultation. You'll be confident and so happy you did!

If you're looking for outstanding service she is the one to use. I have no worries while i'm gone. I know my kitties are taken care of and monitored. Plus I get morning pictures of them each day I'm gone! She is the best.

After spiraling down the rabbit hole, researching the various plethora of nearby daycare options…read morewith the important sole purpose to take advantage of a perfectly optimal socialization opportunity, to enroll my newly rescued/adopted puppy. All the current active staff working at this specific location have demonstrated & proven how extremely capable & exhaustively knowledgeable as trainers, dog behavior specialists, groomers, etc. They have exceedingly created a trustworthy controlled environment setting that makes me reassuringly safe to entrust the safety & wellbeing of my 4-legged son. They have gone above & beyond for my puppy & I could not praise/thank them enough for their time, energy & effort to nurture my puppy's confidence & needs. Including assessing & addressing his trauma triggers being bullied as the "runt" of his litter, that occurred prior to his rescue. I am thoroughly enthralled with their most adorable & transparently informative daily report cards that are released after their daycare reservation. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to cultivate & nurture their doggo-puppers development & overall wellbeing (with a heaping side of well deserved spoiled treatment)! Will definitely be a continuing member, as long as they will have Beemo & I, after we officially move to the PNW.

WOW! What a difference three weeks with Taylor and board & train at A Dogs Best Friend can make…read more Holy smokes. We are so happy and very proud of our dog's progress and have so much to thank Taylor for. Folks send their dogs to board and train programs for many reasons. For us, we wanted support honing previously learned skills, learning recall, and curbing a few unwanted behaviors such as excitedly lunging and jumping at people, fence fighting, and barking. We were nervous about so many things. What would we do without our boy for three weeks? Would his sweet and playful personality be the same when he returned? Could we stick to it and reinforce his learning at the end of it all? The three weeks away were tough. But we timed it with a family vacation which helped a lot. As for the dog we picked up at the end; Ozzie is the exact same amazingly sweet and playful dog. But he is so much more confident, calm, and responsive. He honestly seems like a much happier dog. Almost like he feels and shares the pride we have in him. And with the tools and confidence it has given us, we can now give him the fulfilling life he deserves. THANK YOU, TAYLOR! We look forward to continuing this journey with you.
