There's a large pool in the center of the hotel so you can go for a swim just 10 feet outside your hotel room if you want. The town of Logan itself is also very close to a lot of nearby parks and hiking, which the hotel provides lots of information on. There was a....unusually large list of rules and terms to agree to when checking in, but ultimately it wasn't anything too concerning and mostly common sense things. The rooms themselves were alright, kind of small and not super swanky but still clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. There's a little "soft background noise" speaker in each room which defaults to soft beach waves which is a nice touch. If you like supporting local businesses, need a reasonably priced dog-friendly hotel or both I'd recommend here.

Haven't flown in awhile so I didn't fly in; drove in, watching a rally which had a service stop here. The locals were friendly, and I talked to a guy who was an instructor and seemed to be the airport manager. It's generally a quiet place, with a few small planes coming and going. It'd be handy for flying in for a vacation, though you'd have to arrange ground transportation. Nice rows of T-hangars. A big dining shelter. A T-33, well-kept, out front. There's a "tower" on top of the airport offices, though it doesn't seem open. Mostly a place to mount antennas, it would be a nice place to observe any comings and goings.

Everyone in my group had a great time and loved everything there was to do, from relaxing in the hot tub to playing in the game room. I recommend this place to anyone with a group of 8-15 people.

Perfect spot to relax, enjoy family and nature! This cabin is huge with three levels!…read more The main level is technically the basement but it is street level with two bedrooms, bathroom, seating area with tv and laundry room. Best part of that area is the Pac-Man game with plenty of options for kids and adults. The hot tub is right outside this entrance and it fits 4-5 people comfortably. The lights and jets in the hot tub were great. There is plenty of parking and the parking is right next to the fire pit area. The main level is the best part in my opinion with kitchen, huge seating area around fireplace with tv and dining area. Kitchen has plenty of utensils, plates, and materials you need but the lights are hard to find and the microwave and stove light were not working. TV is equipped with cable and a DVD player which was a nice plus. This area also has a bedroom and bathroom. One con in this area is the configuration with the couches and kitchen- it was hard to get pass some family members so I would suggest moving the couch. This area also leads out onto the wrap around patio- talk about views and relaxing. There is plenty of seating as well as tables. They had corn hole to play out here- light switches and fans are controlled inside. The top level has a seating area, pool table, bunk beds and bedroom/bathroom. The pool table was fun but a little worn down. There was chalk all over it and the rack was broken. Bathrooms were all spacious and well taken care of- the towels were extremely soft which I appreciate. One con for this cabin and why this review is four stars is that the beds are so hard. Everyone struggled to get a good nights rest because the beds were so hard. I think we got use to them and were tired after hiking so that made it easier to sleep. Overall, I would stay at this cabin again and enjoyed my time!

We didn't have any problems, other than not having a corkscrew in the cabin- which Peggy resolved speedily! The locations great too. It's close to the parks and only a short drive away from Kroger, Walmart, the Hocking Hills Winery and Brewery 33. I'd stay here again and would recommend the cabin to my friends or family.

The location…read morewas great, as we wanted to explore the less well-known Clear Creek Metro Park instead of Hocking Hills. The guest book was full of people raving about how they'd return soon. Based on the location and affordability, I wish we could plan on returning, but after our first experience, we will not. Unfortunately the entire place smelled like natural gas the whole 3-day weekend. The loft concentrated the fumes and it was so bad there that we had to sleep downstairs. Opening all the windows helped a lot. Fortunately it was a very warm weekend so it didn't get too cold inside but most people will not be so lucky as to get 60 degree weather in February. When I mentioned the smell to the owners they said that this is what happens when the gas tank gets low. This really isn't an excuse, all they need to do is let the tanks run dry and replace a valve. Other complaints were minor. Some smashed pottery outside the house and the area could have used a little general picking up. Despite the printed instructions, we could not for the life of us figure out how to access the DirecTV channels, so there was only one TV channel available. (We didn't mind this much but it's still annoying.) The fireplace would turn on by itself sometimes; it was unnerving to wake up to a gas-filled house and find an unattended fire burning, despite following the printed fireplace instructions. Would have been a 4 star review if not for the gas.
