Lemme start off by saying I was a little skeptical of coming here, not many people can get my hair right since it's so messed up. I was wrong! Leslie is a master craftsman, cuts hair like she's working on a masterpiece, is super personable, welcoming, and one of the best people over had a conversation with while getting my haircut, and usually I'm just silent so that's saying A LOT! Went to barbero's before coming here and it was a world of difference. Barber shops can be intimidating. Especially when you walk in not having an appointment, and nobody greets you. I signed in on the walk-in sheet, luckily I was able to find it. I put my name and number down and sat down in the waiting area. The only issue is every barber was focused on cutting hair, so if you walk in you will likely be ignored until your name is called from the list. I waited for an hour before catching a barber and asking what the best way to get an appointment is and not have to wait for an unknown amount of time. She told me to go up to a barber and ask them if they had availability for the desired time and date. I scheduled with her for the next day and left. Came back the next day and received a haircut at the time I was scheduled, it was nice. The shop overall isn't bad. It could use some updating, but is relatively clean. My biggest complaint is the lack of customer service upon entering, and lack of organization for walk ins, and people wanting to schedule an appointment. Perhaps using the apps that other barber shops use to be able to schedule, look at barbers work, and such. Also having a dedicated person as the greeter/facilitator would make the experience so much better. read more

I'm new to the area so finding a barber was really hard for me. I took my son there for a cut. The female working there is awful at cutting hair. She was texting in between her cuts. I did ask for a taper fade and regardless how I explained the cut to her she ruined my son's hair and still got upset I told her to fix it. She had my son get off the chair and asked us to wait until she's done with her two appointments she had up next which was ridiculous. Another barber there was about to leave and he was willing to fix his hair which he did. Besides that, the customer service is awful. I originally booked the appointment with a male barber and when I showed up they told me he had to leave early. The environment there is just awkward and unwelcoming! read more

All of the barbers at this shop are highly qualified barbers. My son and all of my grandsons get their hair cut here and the work is amazing. My littlest one is six years old and his haircuts are always on point and look fantastic. We all know that a six-year-old cannot sit still for very long but they are very patient with the little ones and the cuts come out perfect. I'm VERY particular with my fades and how I want my hair to be cut. Oscar has always been able to consistently cut my hair EXACTLY how I want it. I can honestly say I've never had a bad cut since I've been going to him 5 years ago. I moved to Arlington and still drive an hour 1/2 to get cut. My son gets to come with me to the shop the other barbers fade him up and always a good cut for him as well. As for the shop l, very clean and friendly staff. When me and my husband first walked in with our grandchildren everyone just turned and looked and went back to cutting hair. I finally asked if I needed to sign in & found out I did, so we signed in and waited for about 30 minutes to get our grandsons hair cut. Turns out its best to have an appointment) The staff and clientele are 99.9 percent Hispanic and I was a little uncomfortable at first since no one spoke to us but I decided why not stay and get my grandsons haircut as planned. Of course I had to break the silence and awkwardness so I started talking with the barber closest to me. Turns out he was really nice and we talked about a lot of different things and I got a few recommendations for someone to do some concrete work. The gentleman who cut my sons hair did a great job. The place is clean and decorated nicely. We even bought a shirt with their logo on it. All in all it is a great place to get a haircut. read more

I desperately wanted to like this place after reading the reviews on Yelp! and also seeing recommendations on Nextdoor. However, the experience was a complete disaster. I sat down with Marcus, who came recommended on Nextdoor, and proceeded to show him a picture of exactly what I wanted. I showed a few pictures and felt that we had an understanding of what I was looking for -- a mid taper fade cut with an inch off the top. Suffice to say, this was NOT what I got. I ended up with a #1 high and tight and barely enough hair on top to comb over. It was easily the worst haircut I have ever gotten. It was so awful, that I asked him to just buzz the rest of it off because there was nothing I could do with it after the hack job I received. The only saving grace was that I didn't have to pay for it. The most frustrating part about this, is that I have a business trip coming up in a week and I have to show up with an Army cut. I should have just waited a week for Oscar. I just moved to the area and wanted to find a barber as good as the one I moved away from but after visiting this place, I need to keep looking. Maybe the other barbers are better, but I doubt I will come back to find out. read more

Went to this Barber shop on Sunday ask for bald fade not cut off at top. The worse haircut. I wouldn't recommend this barber shop anyone. The tallest heavier Mexican barber man who sits second from last chair opposite side where owner chair was cut my hair. I guess he not confident to cut African American hair. They are super kind and know their stuff. My boys all enjoy their cuts from here and have a great time. Went in today to try it out after seeing the great reviews. The guy that helped me didn't speak much English at all but seemed to know what he was doing.. he styled it in a way that I didn't realize just how bad it was until I got home and showered. This isn't a case of cutting it a style I don't like which I could deal with as my hair grows back pretty fast but this is something I'll be going to have fixed elsewhere before I have to show my face at work tomorrow and I'm not sure how he has a job. read more

So happy to have found this spot. My son is 10 and has course straight thick hair with these 2 oddly placed cow licks. He's been getting hair cuts pretty regularly since he was 6 months old because of how fast and thick his hair grows but through the years we've struggled to find a good barber who knew what to do with his hair. He's really gotten to the point of not wanting to go get his hair cut because of how bad some of the cuts have been. Today, Marcus took care of him and took the few things that I told him and gave my son the best haircut he's ever had. My son was so happy as you can see from the pics. I was in need of a cut and had time while I was in the area. I searched Yelp and decided to come here. The young man who faded me up was very friendly and had good conversation. The shop itself was pretty chill and the barbers all seemed cool. I loved my cut when he was done...I'm talking beaming allllll day dopeness. However, days later I started itching every where his clippers touched my head and eventually that itch turned into what feels like a crazy rash all over my damn head. I have these itchy bumps that sting all over. I don't have many regrets in life but this is one. I don't know if it was dirty clippers or if I am actually allergic to anything used during the cut but this is the absolute worse. I am literally giving 2 stars bc my cut was dope for like 2 days before the bumps appeared. read more

I had been looking for a good barber for 3 months and I am happy to have found someone who knows what they are doing. This Barbershop is a little bit TOO unprofessional. Playing vulgarity on the Television while my children are in the building. It's very uncomfortable hearing all the inappropriate spanish speaking the Hispanic barbers do. They talk about people in spanish without expecting anybody else to understand. The haircut was mediocre. Overall if you aren't kissing ass and just putting up with "anything" you'll basically accept anything. Owner is very rude as well.
