I have all the confidence in the world with Dr. Ogi and his abilities. We have been seeing him for our German Shepherd for 3 years now, and our Collie for about 1 year. He seems to thoroughly enjoy what he does, and has proven time and time again to be extremely knowledgeable and able to easily answer any questions I have ever had. His level of care is exceptional, and I'm so sorry to have to be finding another clinic to take my dogs to.
However, there is an issue - Dr. Ogi is of the Kewaskum Vet Clinic. My problem with the Kewaskum Vet Clinic is (obviously) not with the doctors or the friendliness of the staff, or even the prices. My problem is with the administration. Ever since the beginning we have experienced one problem after another. Appointments were mis-scheduled, vaccinations were not recorded, they tried charging us TWICE for something we never ordered or picked up, and they nearly gave our Collie the wrong heartworm medication, which could have killed him. We had to have a rabies certificate redone three times because they kept putting incorrect information on it (first his weight was wrong, then they put in the information for our OTHER dog, then his weight was wrong AGAIN). The people are incredibly friendly, and as I said earlier I have the highest confidence in Dr. Ogi, but when the staff almost kills my dog because they didn't take the time and care to ensure he was being given the right medicine, I just cannot patronize the place any longer, and cannot recommend the clinic itself to others. Record keeping there is abysmal, and when it comes to health care, that's vitally important.
If this review could be solely for Dr. Ogi and there was no association with the Kewaskum Vet Clinic, I would easily give 5 stars, as he is a great veterinarian. However, as a bundle, I just can't honestly do that. read more
