A beer flight from Offshore
Tom T.

Location, location, location. On Martha's Vineyard and an easy walk from the ferry...What a cool spot for a brewery. I saw one review mention they didn't have flights, so maybe that's a recent change, but I'm sure glad they actually did. Stopping in a few hours after a nice breakfast, I wasn't ready for lunch but I was thirsty. :) It was quiet, yet was a friendly place, and the beers I tried were all good.

A fun brewery in Oak Bluffs! Check it out! We shared a few 8 oz pours since they do not do flights. We did not eat but all the food looked great!

I walked in and felt good. Fun decor, with patches from all the states. Good ambiance and friendly service. Home brewed beer, rotating seasonal ones as well. Ordered the clam chowder and it came piping hot. Absolutely delicious, one of the better ones on the island. The tavern burger was good. A bit overcooked but flavors pulled through. Potato pizza? Never had. I decided to try it and phew, was it heavy. It was tasty tho! The two of us couldn't finish it. The beers were amazing. I had two beers, blueberry and cider. WOW. If you like beer, come here. Brewed extremely well, deep in flavor and surprisingly high alcohol content for something so sweet.

We were looking forward to their wood fire pizza. It was just Ok. We were seated and then went to order the pizza and the waiter said there was something wrong with the oven. We were about to leave and he came back and said it was working. I think the hostess should have told us before we were seated

Adorable!!! inside this restaurant makes me feel like I just got off a three month fishing excursion and I'm finally getting a brewski with my Bros. I felt like a true New Englander inside of this establishment. Our bartender was so kind and the espresso martini was fab! I imagine in the summer it's probably hard to get a table here because it's not very big and it's right in the heart of the shopping area of OB!

Amazing services and food! Great out door seating nice combination of healthy and savory options!

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the beach! The chips and guac was the perfect starter on a warm summer day sitting outside. The lobster roll was also amazing! Lots of beer and drink options, I wasn't a fan of the shandy cocktail I ordered but the delicious food and great service made up for it!

Amazing food and beer. I didn't see much of the inside because the weather outside was amazing, and their patio was very enjoyable. We were looking for something refreshing after a hot beach day, and they provided everything we needed. The guacamole was some of the most flavorful I've had. The lobster roll was massive and delicious (though I would probably omit the red onion next time). Their saison also had a ton of flavor and I would've loved to have a few while sitting on the beach!

We had a perfect lunch here in late September on a picture perfect day! Being outside surrounded by gorgeous flowers made it seem like we weren't looking at a parking lot with cars constantly passing inches from us. My 80yr old mom and I spent the day exploring and were in search of an amazing lobster roll, we found it here! Outdoor seating was ideal and our server was attentive. I had a creative cocktail and we shared lunch and dessert. The lobster roll was pretty epic actually and the fries a perfect compliment. Chocolate cake finished off our amazing lunch and we wandered off to find the gingerbread houses not far away. Only a water view would have made this better, but the lobster roll was so good I'm glad we didn't pick a spot with a view.

This was an unexpected gem! We hadn't planned to stop here but with a quick search Offshore Ale looked like a good choice for lunch and wow am I glad we stopped! We ordered a flight of beers and cider and all were great, out of what we tried hubby did select one to get a glass. The pizza was delicious really phenomenal toppings and crust. The BEST part though was the clam chowder. I tried clam chowder at 5 different places during our trip and Offshore Ale had the best clam chowder out of all the ones I tried. Friendly staff and service was nice. It was crowded and hard to walk in, they really pack the people in but we sat at a window and it was cozy for two. Definitely recommend.

I didn't eat anything too amazing today, but the burger was pretty good, and others in our group enjoyed their meals. It's a nice restaurant to hang out in. They brew their own beers here, so the selection is limited--make sure to check out your options beforehand. Service was fine and quick.

Potato Pizza -10/10. Unexpectedly delicious

This place was awesome! We sat outside and shared a few items and got a flight of beer. Our server was attentive and excellent. Local Martha's Vineyard Oysters - 10/10 Brie with pesto and roasted Garlic: 10/10 Potato Pizza - 10/10. I wasn't sure about this but had never seen this in a menu before so I had to try it. So good! One slice is all you need.

Bbq chicken pizza. Amazing. Highly recommend.

I don't know why everyone isn't raving about this place. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Sure, you don't think of pizza when you think MV, but the BBQ chicken pizza we had here was amazing. I usually think chicken on pizza is dry and rubbery, but this chicken was perfectly moist. The toppings were yummy, and the sauce was very flavorful. The crust had a nice crunch. The beer selection is good. Plus, there's a full bar and wine options. Something for everyone. Our service was friendly and attentive even on a busy night. The checkin process was easy. They take your name and number, then text you a link to track your progress on the waitlist. They had live music on the Thursday night at 7 when we were there. It was fun music - loud, but not unbearable. A few people were dancing even though the place is small. Highly recommend. Expect a wait if you go at prime time.

Hi, you list having vegan options here, but all I see on your menu is an impossible burger on brioche. Brioche unfortunately isn't vegan because of the eggs. Do you have other items?

The next thing you'll notice is that the staff is very friendly and really trying to manage the chaos that is being caused by a chaotic kitchen. We were seated directly in-front of the kitchen, so we saw everything: - two or three wait staff anxiously waiting for orders in front of the service station (pick-up) area; - a chef continually looking at an inappropriate movie that was playing on a screen that was oddly positioned where the kitchen staff could view it (WHY) - a kitchen staff that was either doing nothing or working frantically - this is an indication of very poor management; - mediocre appetizers but passable - the entrées were ridiculously poor. I'll only describe mine to save time, but trust each of four were failures. The nerve to send to the table a beautiful piece of blue fin tuna that smelled like the gas used by a small propane gun, that had been partially burned - like on 1/2 of the fish. This shows zero respect for this beautiful creature or the people who ordered it. The lobster risotto that was beneath the fish was cold, lacked any flavor of lobster, and looked as though it had been thrown on the plate from across the room, and then to have the nerve to charge $60 + dollars is ridiculous. We of course requested to speak with the manager, who immediately came to our table, empathized and apologized, we felt heard. He then comped our entire meal which was very generous and appreciated. The chef then came over to apologize, and stated, "I'm so sorry, we dropped a pan and that threw everything off". WHAT? Buddy, we sat there and watched the chaos in your kitchen. The problemS, are not the result of a dropped pan. Apology appreciated, lame excuse was unnecessary and again demonstrated a lack of respect or intelligence. I may return alone, just to see if anything has changed or what show is on the TV.

The restaurant is so cozy, the service is always quick and friendly, they have an outstanding tequila selection and the food is tremendous. I went with a big group of girlfriends on Wednesday night so we were able to sample a plethora of dishes from the current menu and let me tell you, they all slapped. We had the taleggio agnolotti, rabbit pappardelle, sunchokes, foccacia, halibut, scallops, pork schnitzel and duck leg cassoulet. Truly all of the food was outstanding but my favorites were the cassoulet, rabbit pasta and the halibut. The pork was good but do note that it is a positively enormous amount of food! We were so full that we almost skipped dessert but we had to try just a couple of things so we ordered the Dubai chocolate ice cream and the sticky toffee pudding which were both great but the ice cream was the favorite. Nothing was necessarily bad--it just didn't blow me away the way I expected based on how popular this place is. That said, it was one of the few places open late in Oak Bluffs, so I definitely understand the appeal. Be prepared for a LONG line at night. The crowd comes in waves, but when it gets busy, it gets busy. The space inside is also mad tight, so if you're planning to eat there rather than take your food to go, keep that in mind. Overall, solid burger and a convenient late-night option, but I probably wouldn't wait in that crazy line specifically for the food again.
