At first, I was skeptical about the location due to having trouble getting in touch with anyone at the shop. First time I called was Sunday 07/01 around 12 noon, as they opened at about 11am and no one answered all day. I called back Monday around 6pm and a little kid answered. I tried setting up an appointment, but was instructed to use some app which the kid had no idea on how to guide me to do so. He called on someone else to assist me. I asked to have an appointment set up and he followed by taking my information down and stating someone would call me back. No one ever did. I kinda had given up but was in need of a haircut so I just walked in a few days later. Upon walking in, other barbers were tending to other customers. Shop was very clean and I noticed there was a pool table, in case of wait times. Or I'm guessing, if it was slow for the barbers. Either way, I find it to be a plus. Victor approached me and let me know he would be the one who could cut my hair. I had showed him pictures from my last haircut and he said it could be done. Victor took his time and was very friendly. After finishing the cut, he proceeded by showing me the final result thru various angles on the mirror. I was very pleased. The salon girls would say "I see you had a #6 cut the last time you were here". What does that actually even mean? I also started noticing that from time to time I left the salon with a cowlick. This never ever happened with a cut from Wayne. After too many poor cuts from salons, now I only go to Wayne. He greets me by my name when I enter, and during the course of the cut we talk about happenings around town, people we know in common, a bit of local politics, sometimes the weather, etc. It's a lot like the experience in the barber shops in town from when I grew up here.
