I ordered a mobile phone during the EOFY sales online. The Google Pixel was on discount across all retailers. I decided to buy it through OfficeWorks, which clearly was a wrong decision.
They promised to deliver the product three to four days after the purchase date. I waited for more than two weeks and tried to reach out to their "Customer Service" multiple times. Each time, I got a different story! They ended up claiming it was the courier's issue, which was clearly not the case. The mobile phone ran out of stock on the website, and they had no inventory left. They weren't even willing to call me back, and every time I called, they asked me to call again in a couple of days. Their customer service couldn't be worse!
After waiting for more than 20 days, they decided to simply cancel the order and issue a refund - without even consulting me. Now, I've missed the sales period as the EOFY time has ended, and I have to pay around $400 extra compared to the discounted price!
