I needed help at the printing station and after seeing all these bad reviews I decided to leave a nice one. I know the station is supposed to be self service but printers are a serious pain in the butt, and I needed a helping hand to printing some labels for my wedding invites. Paige (almost positive thats her name) helped me at the self service because I had literally no idea what I was doing & I was so stressed out. So shout out to Paige!!! Thank you for helping me and making my day a little easier. read more

I only needed to print a single sheet of paper today, and yet again, the employee at the printing station completely refused to help me. In the past, I've had issues with their self-serve printer not returning the required $5 temporary hold charge. Previously, helpful staff members let me email the document directly to the front desk to print it. However, every time I've visited recently, there is a new employee who rudely claims "they don't do that anymore." Even when staff members did help me in the past, they acted incredibly annoyed and made me feel completely unwelcome. It makes no sense why they even staff the printing station if they refuse to assist walk-in customers. If they are only there to fulfill online orders, it's a massive waste of space and staff. This location is poorly run and the staff is incredibly unhelpful. If this is the closest store to you, do yourself a favor: drive a little further to a different location where the employees actually care about customer service. read more

Officemax is the closest office supply store to my home. I've shopped here mainly for printer ink and paper over the past several years. On my last trip, I needed black ink for my HP printer. I found it pretty quickly and headed for the checkout. Checkout took about 15 minutes. It seems everyone had the same idea as me at the same time, lol. The associate was friendly and got me out the door as fast as he could. The ink, with tax, cost roughly $25. Officemax has a competitive price on ink. If it's listed cheaper on their website, show the cashier, and they will adjust the price. This location also offers printing services for larger projects. I'll continue to shop her for my personal printing needs. read more

People in printing section are absolute morons, and gave no help at all. Went 1 mile away and they had me taken care of in less then 5 mins. I will never go to your business again. Your company and your workers are not worth a dime. read more

OfficeMax - They did not have exactly what I needed. - Office Equipment Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

I can't tell you the last time I stepped into an office supply store. Why? Because I tend to order these items online. This particular insistence, I was in immediate need of some documents printed. I uploaded and paid for the items I needed copied the night before via OfficeMax's website. The thrifty side of me was super stoked, since I had an online coupon code and was able to save 20% off my order, so that's a definite plus. They don't call me couponing Carla for nothing (please note, no one calls me that). Because i had some problems uploading my documents, I opted in the morning when they opened to give OfficeMax a call and check on the status of my order, since I didn't receive a pickup time. I was transferred to the copy center and a gentleman pleasantly answered. He said, "Carla I was just about to call you. I wanted to see if you could send me the other document again, it's coming out a bit fuzzy and I want to make sure your documents are clear and legible." My first thought was, "WHAT?!? You want me to have an awesome product and presentation?" He gave me his email address and said I could email the updated document to him and he'd swap the original out with the new document and it would be done super quick. I emailed the document to him, walked into OfficeMax, walked over to the copy center and there he was (sorry sir, i don't remember your name, but you were so pleasant and helpful). He said he just received the email and would go ahead and print everything off (I literally sent the document from the parking lot). To my amazement, he showed me the original and it didn't look that bad. I'm super impressed with his dedication to quality. He made the copies, swapped out the originals, offered me a box for my documents and I was on my way in less then 10 minutes. Pros: -Puts quality first -Awesome customer service -Great attention to detail in the copy center -Ease of picking up order Cons: -It gets pretty pricey ordering copies, maybe it's time I invest in a printer Tip: If you're unsure if your document loaded correctly, give the copy center a call at OfficeMax. They're more than happy to help! read more

Quanisha was amazing at the photo/print center. Hubby and I had a complex order of posters and photos needing to get printed for our wedding ceremony that we were finally having after the pandemic. Quanisha patiently worked with us to figure out all the paper finishes and pricing, plus did some custom sizes for our posters (we had bought frames for a great deal at IKEA, but they weren't necessarily standard poster sizes). Service overall was a bit slow because she was by herself; but I can't fault her for that because it seemed like everyone had a complicated job. Overall, our experience was great. She had everything printed out for us and made sure the prints looked good before handing them over. The only gripe is that poster print prices start at the 16x20 size, so if you had something smaller to print, then you'd be charged for that size. Also, definitely try to stop by in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the after-work rush at the print center. read more

This is the go to neighborhood OfficeMax /Office Depot! Looking for office supplies especially those darn expensive desktop printer cartridges - this is the place to go -- very important to save your old printer cartridges and return them for OfficeMax rewards points good toward future purchases (like more printer cartridges)! We've had good luck buying office chairs on sale here as well as hard to find office supplies like those Uniball micro fine roller ball pens. Enjoy shopping here because it's light on customer traffic and service from the staff is consistently good. Conveniently located in the super Target plaza, I recommend this place for your on sale office needs. read more

OfficeMax - Office max run! - Office Equipment Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

Ordered business cards online. The font on the cards are horrible and not the sizes it says when you order online. Already had my own template and everything and now I have to go somewhere else to pay them to fix what office max screwed up. Online I made sure to fill the border but they still print with some white border around the card and words so small you can't read. Also the order was on the counter ready but I still had to wait in line on customers for over 30 mins to get my cards just handed to me and have a good day. Could have been 30 mins earlier if I had already paid even after asking if those were mine standing in line. Completely ignored and rude responses. I do not recommend. read more

This is the closest Officemax to my home and have been there several times, mostly for last minute touch ups on kid's school projects. Posters, binding, color detail etc.....Service has always been very good. We were here last Saturday for a new lap top for my daughter as she heads off to college. They had a great Dell special and we took advantage of it. Again, great service from two associates who helped my daughter with her specific needs. Store is always clean and organized. I will be back since I have a son with 3 years of high school left. All those projects will need some artistic flare from Officemax. read more

OfficeMax - Laptops - Office Equipment Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

This afternoon went to office max. I need a little help with my new laptop. There was one clerk behind the cash register with several customers in line checking out. He was busy. There was another clerk in the printing area. He was almost laying on the counter hitting on a young lady. There was a third person in the printing area looked like he was trying to look busy but wasn't. I still need my laptop fixed. Thank you Office Max.... read more

Terrible customer service. I went to laminate a poster and it was broken. They took my cell number and said they would call when it was working. They never called. I went back a few minutes ago and their was only one person working behind the counter. She ignored me for 15 minutes. She was having problems with another order. The manager came over and I asked if someone else could help me laminate the poster. The other person said it would be 30 minutes before she could help me and even the manager couldn't help with it. ONLY ONE person in an ENTIRE store trained on a laminator? Ridiculous. I am a teacher and will NEVER use this place again. read more

I needed some notebooks cut, and I called before arriving at the store to ensure the price of services. I was told that getting my notebooks cut would cost seventy-five cents per cut, but when I arrived I only paid twenty-one cents to get eight notebooks cut because of an educator's discount. Woohoo! Way to go, OfficeMax! Now that's what I'm talkin' about. I genuinely appreciate saving the extra dollars, and I frequently have positive experiences at this OfficeMax. Keep up the good work all of you Office Max associates, and kudos to those in the printing center this morning. Thank you so much! Muah! :-) read more

You done screwed up OfficeMax. I came in to do a pretty simple print job on eight and half by 11 paper, I sent it in in the morning came by to check on the progress, they hadn't even opened the email and then explained that it wouldn't be ready at least until tomorrow if that. In the past I did a lot of work here and I've never had to wait a whole day for any project except for some very very large and unique orders. No need to find a new place :-( read more

Ricky the cashier was very rude to me. I was returning something he told me that I need to have the recite and I told him that I didn't have it. It took him forever to give me a gift card. Also he was very rude when I left the store he said thank you in a very snotty mood. read more

I went in to pick up some SD cards and a laptop. I entered and stood by a customer support. She ignored me looking at stock list. They had changed the store since I was there last and could only find the laptop. She walked past me a second time and I said "excuse me", she continued to walk. I took a couple of steps and said "excuse me" again. and she turned her back to me. She can keep her stock on the shelves. Neither I nor my nonprofit will purchase from Office Max Or Office depot, in store or online. Disrespectful! She sure convinced me it is not worth my time to go to any of the Office Depot conglomerate but to purchase better professionals online. read more

Went there to buy inexpensive computer desk but will not go back! Do not recommend this location if you need help with assistance with someone who wants to work!
