I have shopped this store for years and have never had anything but good service. I have a business and anything I have ever needed they have or will get for me. I also shop school supplies, etc. I am shocked by the nasty reviews and wonder how rude those people were to staff. Treat people kindly and you would be amazed at how you will be treated in return. They no longer provide any services. You have to do everything yourself. Self-serve copy, self-serve fax, self-serve mail packages (even have to create your own label at a little desk with a keyboard). Two employees there, but they don't do any of the work. The customer does everything and pays them for the privilege of doing it myself. What am I paying them for ?? Won't go back. I'll order from Amazon and go to UPS to mail things. At UPS they send faxes for you and print out the labels for the packages. It's not worth it to go there and do everything myself. It's been going downhill for a while but this is the worst I've experienced. Plus a snarky attitude. "We need to be available to help other customers." Help them how? Horrible experience with OfficeMax/Office Depot - Ordered a product that needed delivery, their delivery driver made up a "signed for name" and claimed to deliver it. Went in to get a book spiral-bound, and the lady behind the desk acted like it was going to take her all afternoon to do it. I've gotten it done at Office Depot in less than five minutes! When I asked her how long I'd need to wait, she wouldn't give me a specific time frame, said "maybe later this afternoon". I took my book back and went somewhere else. read more

Biggest plus...you can drop off odd sized UPS or USPS boxes in the back of the store near the Business/Copy counter. However, the staff is very meh. Either they completely ignore you when all you need is one stupid stamp or they are all up in your business six times during a 5 minute trip to buy post it notes. Huge hit or miss...or mostly miss. But their selection is good enough and their prices aren't bad so I keep coming back...and avoiding anyone in an Office Max shirt... read more

Came here to make one copy off a USB. The print center had a sign that said to ask any associate for help. I asked the three associates available, who all looked to be about 14, if they could help. They all told me the print center was closed and they didn't know how to operate anything there. Seriously? You don't know how to plug a USB into a printer and make one 12 cent copy? They directed me to the "self service center" - two copiers where you already needed a hard copy to make copies. Very helpful. The place was empty other than me so guessing between the lack of service and business that this place won't be open much longer, and they don't deserve to be. read more

I'm here a lot getting office supplies for my home office. Not a big deal. However, I had a bunch of printing to do and decided to print there rather than using up all my toner at home. It was great...about 100 pages for $8.00, black and white, and they hole punched it for me (they didn't use the hole punch paper, they used the machine). The printer was really friendly. Now I understand why this store only has two stars. I ordered invitations for my sister's baby shower and the delivery date that I received after I ordered would have gotten them to me a few days before I needed to send them out, which was perfect. The delivery date came and went and I waited to receive a text from them telling me my order was ready,giving them a couple of extra days (because it's COVID and things take longer), but when I called the store not only did they not have my order, they had never heard of it and they left me on hold for 45 minutes, only to tell me that they couldn't figure out whether or not they were supposed to print it in store or if the processing place was supposed to print it and send it...and that they needed to contact the processing place to find out what was going on and that they'd call me back.... which they haven't done. If you need invites or anything printed you're better off doing it at home. read more

I asked multiple workers to help me find a binder in the store and not one of them knew where they were, and instead of asking someone, they would just walk away. I was very unimpressed. This Officemax is just OK. The selection has just about everything you would want for office supplies. Where this store falls short is the staff. Just like most office supply places, employees absolutely love to ask you if you need help. Any given time I walk in to the store, I am bombarded with inquiries. I don't mind one or two from two different people, but the longer you are in the store, the more frequent and persistent the staff are in trying to help you. One time, I was there late looking for a new mouse with a buddy of mine. Towards the end of my visit, the manager was desperate to help me. When I declined, he told me to leave essentially. Seriously? Be available, but leave me alone. I was going to buy something, but decided not to because of your persistence. My recommendation is to go to Staples or Office Depot where the staff is much less annoying. If you insist on Officemax, try to hide from the employees. read more

WARNING to everyone that uses Office Max's Perks program. Be SURE to read the fine print when you sign up. For every $500 you spend, you get a $25 card. That EXPIRES in 90 days and ALL of your points are voided on Jan 1 each year. I had been under the impression that I could cash my points in anytime after spending thousands at their stores over the last 8 years. Surprise to me. Devils in the detail. I just feel SCREWED!! I used to shop at the OfficeMax at Belmar before Office Depot took over. They were great and helpful. Even the staff at the OfficeMax on Wadsworth in Littleton was good. However since the Office Depot merger went through the service has indeed gone downhill drastically. I would agree with the other reviews about the poor service. Every now and again I manage to get a helpful person and I have hopes just to be jilted the next time I need to get an office supply before Staples opens. What other options are there if you don't shop on line and/or can not wait for arrival of an item. Wish Office Depot would improve their customer service. read more

Not a good experience. Helpers were not at all accommodating. They were standing around conversing and letting me wait for them to finish. When I told them what I needed, they just pointed to the isle telling me the item was on the right hand side and they left. I Never found the item. Another time I needed ink. This company sold me a 2 to 3 year office max warranty on a laptop I bought for my daughter for Christmas. Wow. I don't expect the staff at OfficeMax to be good, this company is dying and its largely because they pay their employees terribly and don't train their staff well (E-commerce isn't helping them either). So I expected to be underwhelmed when I went to this location earlier today to print some materials for a business pitch I'm doing this afternoon. However, the staff at this store weren't just underwhelming, they were awful. I went to the print center when I entered the store as I needed to access the internet and print some materials. There was one extremely rude young woman working at the print center, and she was 'helping' an elderly woman with a printing job. I put 'helping' in quotations because the employee was essentially yelling at this 80 year old lady to hurry up, which caused the elderly woman to get very nervous and uncomfortable. As I felt uncomfortable as well I skipped the line and went to the self-serve kiosk, signed into Gmail to access my documents using the browser on the kiosk computer, and then went up to the counter to pay for my documents and pick them up. When the elderly woman had finally finished the employee called me up to the counter. I explained I had already printed my documents using the internet on the self-serve kiosk, and the employee started freaking out on me. Apparently 'outsiders' (yes, that's what she called me, a customer) aren't allowed to access the internet from the kiosks. Of course there was no notice telling me this when I used the kiosk, and the computer allowed me to access the internet without a problem. I asked the employee why they didn't let customers know not to use the internet on the kiosk computer and she told me that was 'none of your business.' She then told me I wouldn't be allowed to enter any OfficeMax store again, ever, if I accessed the internet from a kiosk computer again. She then told all the people in line behind me that I was an example of a customer who had 'ignored OfficeMax rules' and told them 'if you want me to serve you don't be like him (me).' I paid for my documents, said thank you (she didn't answer, just stared at me like the psychopath she clearly is) and walked away. This isn't just bad customer experience, this is the type of behavior people should be fired for immediately. On the way out of the store I stopped by the customer service desk and asked to speak to the manager about this employee's behavior; I was told the manager doesn't speak with customers about complaints, that I had to file a complaint with OfficeMax HQ. I'll be doing that, but in the meantime do yourselves a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE for printing/copying services. There is a UPS store in this same complex and the staff there is fantastic. My predicition? OfficeMax/Office Depot will be out of business in 5 years or less, as it should be. read more
