The transition from our original contract to the new contract was so seamless. It was almost as if nothing had ever changed in the first place, the professionalism, the courtesy of everyone involved was just so incredibly nice and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for a better result. Shae was our venue manager and she was so understanding, willing, appreciative, and a genuine energy that made us feel like we were in amazing hands and it was more than we could've asked for. The entire wait & bar staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and truly just felt just like an extension of our family. And a special shout out to Josh, our head server, who served us more than just food and drinks, but such a positive energy throughout the entire day which was so needed! The person in charge,Jesse is easy to work with. Not a lot of restrictions like other venues. You don't have to have a license caterer or security guards. Venue insurance is up to you. Which you should have considering it's an old building. It's reasonably priced, they have their own round 60 inch tables for you to use along with chairs. But the chairs are a little old and ugly. The hall has high ceilings with exposed beams. Which I loved. Only challenge was the ugly fluorescent bar lights and AC vents. But we made it work with string lights and paper lanterns and it really turned the place around. Everyone loves how the hall looked and I was very happy with how it turned out. Overall it was a great location for our wedding reception. I recommend it if your up to the challenge and have a specific look in mind like we did.

It sat vacant for a few years and briefly reopened as a performing arts space in 2013 but was forced to shut down. After being declared a historic monument, it underwent a complete renovation by new owners in 2015. The building changed hands again in 2023 and functions as an event center and a shared common workspace. This three-story venue has rooms upstairs. Downstairs is the main room with lofty ceilings, large windows, wood floors, a kitchen, bathrooms, and a stage for a DJ or live bands. Downstairs is a speakeasy style bar and the backyard is also a nice spot for an outdoor reception. I've driven by this place numerous times thinking it was just a church. I recently saw that there was a Holiday Market Place being held here so I stopped in to do some shopping. There was a man on the front lawn making pupusas and people sitting at tables enjoying them. Inside is quite spacious and there were several vendors selling their merchandise. The tables were nicely spaced apart, so it was easy to browse. Founded in 1888, the founders of city of Los Angeles created this club for their social network and permanent gathering. So details in services and presentation are always important here. To sum it up, it's difficult to even find employees at the club that work here for less than 10 years. The average time each employee spends here has to be over 30 years. What makes it incredible is that they tend to remember most members' names. If you have a chance to be invited to the club, it's essential to get a tour and experience the history here.
