All my boxes were marked with the room they needed to to, but they were all deposited in the dining room. The only piece of furniture they reassembled was the bed. They didn't even unwrap the rest! I'm glad to be in my new house and appreciate the help. However, I would never use them again and certainly wouldn't recommend them. My job, even though time and date were confirmed, was somehow scheduled for a different day. Movers did not show as expected that morning. When I called the office, the issue was addressed and George and Hez were quickly assigned to my job. They arrived with smiles, hustle, and genuine care and concern for me and my belongings. Truly amazing guys. While the mix up with my move date and time was less than excellent, the customer service that happened in that moment to ensure my move happened that day made me a fan. It's not a flawless move that always makes people loyal customers. It's what happens to customers when things do not go as expected and what the company does to remedy the situation that creates forever fans.

Sheldon and…read moreDeAngelo Nash left us in a lurch with more than half of our belongings still requiring a move and blamed the Yelp application for miscommunication. According to Sheldon, our quote was for the listed furniture and approximately 50 boxes even though yelp only allowed the option of "40 or more boxes". When I reached out personally to Sheldon once another, more reliable and careful company picked up Grizzly Movers slack, Sheldon didn't even offer an apology for their negligence and the fact that they never finished the job they were hired to do. I have never in my life had an experience like this, if we would have been required to be out the same day we would have been screwed. Additionally, I can count off the top of my head the numerous items Sheldon and DeAngelo scratched up. Also, one of our dresser drawers can no longer be utilized thanks to whatever Grizzly Movers did to it but it worked right up to the move. I would 100% recommend AGAINST using this company. When he was 2, however, everything went sour. His particular flavor of AuDHD became more and more apparent, and it became increasingly clear that Glendale Heights possibly couldn't meet his needs anymore. Which is reasonable! So, after a number of days of bypassing their own "three strikes" policies and forcing us to pick him up early after a single minor incident (still charging us the full rate, mind you), they unceremoniously kicked him out without warning us that we were anywhere close to that possibly happening. Which, ok, I get from their perspective and communication could have been better - BUT. The reason this is a 1-star review and I won't recommend Glendale Heights to any other parents? Is because, for that last week that he was allowed to attend, it seems that he was told that he was being kicked out and it was _his_ fault, and not Glendale Heights' inability to accommodate his needs. For weeks, we had a 2-year-old constantly melting down every time he realized he did something wrong and _physically beating himself up_ for it. Who blames a 2-year-old like that? Who tells a 2-year-old they're a bad kid? We will forever regret sending our child to Glendale Heights.
