Went back to Office Depot the next day with the knowledge from their own Office Depot website that any Office Depot branded product is eligible for return or exchange at anytime with the exception of ink and toner. Fine. This was a price labeling gun. Neither the "manager" or "assistant manager" would listen to me. The assistant manager is a snotty little twit and wouldn't even pull up their return policy on their own computers. I called over to OfficeMax (sister store) and spoke to someone and finally got her to understand what I wanted. She had the product, exchanged it. No problem. read more

Worked all day.. drove 5 hours to Louisville, received documents that I needed to print for a mtg in the am.. went to Office Depot on Shelbyville rd.. arrived at 7:45pm.. was told we close at 8. Got paper and made my copies as was done at 8:05pm, only because I had to wait for the printer to be unjammed.... Other worker, told 3 different customers as they walked in we close at 8. You literally have 5 minutes so you're not going to have time to shop.. and they basically were just turned away.... I spent $50 on copies.. last time I go to Office Depot. Looked up staples just down the road is open until 9pm. Finishing my other copies there.... Horrible service . I guess they don't need the sales $... read more

I was in the store today wednesday the 25th to purchase a few things and the cashier (her name tag said Farrah I believe) was too busy doing her nails to notice I needed help, I waited in front of her for a few minutes while she did her nails and another associate with a name tag that read "Maq" just sat/leaned on a table starring at me instead of helping me. finally she noticed me and checked me out she asked me to sign up for business select which I tried to tell her multiple times I am already a business select member but she wouldn't let me speak up over her and she just kept explaining the program for about 3 minutes. finally I was checked out and managed to make it out of the store after sitting at the counter waiting for 5 minutes while being ignored by the both of them and another 8 minutes for her to check me out. between being ignored by "Farrah" while she applied fake nails, and the other older associate "maq" just sitting on the table staring instead of helping me I have decided to cancel my business select and I will be shopping at staples or really anywhere else I can get my supplies. I don't even care for the price, Im willing to pay extra to not deal with the disrespec!!! The only upside is upon leaving a younger gentleman helped me get my items to my vehicle. I stopped in to check out their office / desk organizers and was reminded how much Office Depot offers. Likely their main customers are businesses (furniture, bulk paper and supplies, electronics) but individuals can find what they need to upgrade their home office. This is also a good spot for school supplies - we've been able to find that one purple folder no other store carries. Most of what I spotted is basic colors and design, including the desk organizers, so if you're looking for a bit of "pop" you may not find it here. This store is located on Shelbyville Rd (across from Trader Joe's) and shares a parking lot with The Tile Shop. To be cautious, circle around to the side of the building to get on a side street that leads you to a traffic light. read more

I used the pIck up portion of the Office Depot website, which was quick and easy. So when I went to pick up my items, I waited over 10 minutes to get my order. The store seemed to be clean and orderly, but the sales clerks went on break to walk around instead of helping clear out the line. My product was what I ordered and expected, just hoped a pick up order would be faster than normal. read more

It might sound slightly dramatic, but I LOVE this Office Depot. THe staff there is THE BEST! I get copies done frequently for work and they always deliver great service (they have made mistakes, obviously, but they always fix them! To me, that's most important). They have gone above and beyond other stores I have worked with, even when I was the one who made a mistake and ordered the wrong thing! Their prices are very reasonable, and the print quality is great (they don't have a ton of specialty options, but they have a solid white paper and cardstock selection) I use a wheelchair and they have always been VERY helpful when I have needed a little extra assistance. Open late, friendly staff. Having popped in here a few times, I've noticed they have a friendly staff. Always very helpful. Multiple people have come up and asked me if they could help. That's wonderful service. They'll even walk you over to where you need to go, instead of just pointing. The store is relatively small. Or, at least, it feels that way. And it could probably use some new lighting. It looks a little yellow inside. Good selection, though. Always find what I need. Nice and organized as well. The store is open pretty late which is helpful. 9pm on weekdays. Small parking lot but probably plenty for the traffic this store gets. read more

I stopped by to pick up some paper and markers for my classroom and youth orchestra job. The staff had no problem with my tax free code and they even helped me carry 20 pounds of paper to my car. They were super nice and kept offering to carry the paper for me. They were also super chill about me checking out several different times because I needed different receipts for each job. No complaints here. Really exceptional service! read more

This is my first time writing a review, but since I have been waiting to be serviced for over 20 minutes I felt it was necessary to write this. This is not the first time I have experienced long waits and no customer service here. Additionally the employees are not friendly and not knowledgeable. Every time a simple task seems to be difficult and causes there to be long lines and a lot of frustrated customers. Your employees really need to pick up the pace as it slow ms the whole store down. read more

This guy was rude and a jerk. Didn't want to help answer a simple question that would have taken 1 minute. I was about to spend $300-400 in additional office supplies. Was put off by having to work when others were with customers. I asked him who was the manager and he said he was. I said what is your name and he refused to tell me and quickly removed his name tag before I could see it. Never seen anything like this in my 42 years! I dropped my laptop off to be repaired A MONTH ago and just got it back. As soon as he saw what was broken, told me they would have to ship it off to be repaired....FOR $300!!! But, the adapter would be free. Gee thanks! Three weeks later he calls and says I DO have to pay for the adapter. $96!!!! I just got it back today. He offered to upload something on it. NO! Office Depot will not get another red cent or one more second of my time. read more

I would love to be able to leave a good review on the customer service or great products I got at this location. However, I've never been successful in making a purchase here. They are certainly less helpful than other locations I've been to. They refuse services other locations are happy to provide. My advice is to go an extra few miles to a different location if you need assistance. I'll throw in an extra star, though, since they are very friendly about their rejections. read more

When you have an out-off-town business conference in a few days, the brochures were just finalized at the end of a long work day and you pull into an office store... you want them to be open. That wasn't the case for Staples down the street. For that reason alone, I will drive down the street to Office Depot to reward them. But there's more - the girls who helped me, Allie and Sarah, were awesome! They quickly showed me the exact products I was looking for including packaging options, all of which they helped me easily find. I had options of name brands or office Depot brands for a slight savings. From now on when I look for office supplies, I will look for an Office Depot, and try to make it this one. read more

Unfortunately if your Office Depot in particularly THiS Office Depot your looking down the street at Toys R Us from this location and wondering to yourself "Next?" OD needs something cause today I went inn& just happen to need some ink for my copier..well the choices here were down to one box of each canon ink cartridges but all the boxes look like they had been sitting there for months literally most were kinda squished or outdated. I sighed & thought well let me look around here but no help from anyone and half of the lights in the store where dim In the back of the empty isles. I hate seeing a major retailer like this getting their clock cleaned but you see why also... no customer service(cause they can't afford help)old inventory, the store looks dated inside, it's kinda sad. Do not use this location for print services. Long story but take my word for it. Safe yourself a lot of time and frustration and use Staples on Hurstbourne. Lesson learned. read more

We needed help with an older computer and Collin immediately jumped in. We were late getting there so he said to come back next day - which we did. He had found the problem which would have cost a lot to fix. We had another problem of getting all our data moved over over from the broken one to the new computer which we bought the week before. He had moved it over. We were so pleased that we bought a 2nd computer so we could each have one. His knowledge, kindness and thorough follow thru gave us great confidence in him and Office Depot. This particular store has been most kind to us (senior citizens and physically disabled) and responsive to our needs. They are always very helpful and attentive. read more
