Returned to London to visit family and friends. Stopped by 100 Kellogg Lane and The Factory as…read moreheard about the renovated space at the old Kelloggs factory. 100 Kellogg Lane has two of the five floor tenanted and these two floors have about 50 % vacancy. There was an ice cream store and a Starbucks opened when we were there. Several of the businesses were not open when we stopped by. There is a craft brewery on site as well as a restaurant, The Club House, and a distillery. We did not sample any of these as we were there early in the day. The Factory is an entertainment complex geared towards younger children. There is plenty for young kids to do including an escape room, trampoline park, high ropes course, zip line and virtual reality. Would be ideal for kids on a rainy cold day. It was nice to see the changes to this space and understand that they are building a hotel and concert area which should be a good draw.

Ended up going here for the late night mini golf one night with my girlfriend as we play very…read morefrequently (it's kind of our thing). First off the food here is pricey but it's awesome, like really good with huge portions. In terms of my golf experience here I've only ever played the mini golf. The course is fantastic! Very challenging with most holes coming in as a par 2. Every hole has some kind of varying break so this course will test your skill. The greens run pretty fast compared to the other courses in the city. The only real pitfalls of this course compared to tincup or east park is that it s only designed as a 12 hole course. However the final hole is incomplete which also detracts from feeling like I've completed the course. That being said I'll usually just score hole 12 as par or go back and play hole 11 to complete the game. Really awesome course despiter being short and incomplete and I highly reccommend it to anyone looking to get mini golfing.

Mentioned this to the party planner. Waited almost 10 minutes and finally just went into another party room and grabbed theirs - no water for the boys - we had to ask for the birthday cake. It wasn't in the room and no party planner around. Waited as a result. - got 8 (not 10 preloaded cards - short two) - none worked. - service manager was poor in addressing this issue. Made us "prove" they didn't work and then took 10 minutes to do new cards while the boys waited around - she asked me to collect the old cards and bring them all up to her. - the 10 new cards then didn't work again! Her fix was the same 10 minute process for new cards again. Half an hour wasted of a 2.5 hour party with 10 boys all saying "this sucks" for our sons birthday! - no solution offered. We had to say "at least let them go in the climbing area instead of sitting around waiting on these errors. She agreed but they all had to go upstairs to get bracelets. Good customer service would have been bringing them over to us as a peace offering with an explanation about the cards, again we are in charge of rounding everyone up to go into a gated area, but we don't have cards that work so we have to lift each 9 year old child over the gate. - eventually we received 10 new cards (3rd times a charm) but had less then 10 mins to use them as the boys had to be rounded up and off to bowling. - party planner still didn't know who the birthday boy was until we went into the bowling 1 hour and 15 minutes after party had started. - no shoes at Funworkx - had to truck over to Boston Pizza counter to get fitted and then back to bowling. - finally bowling was decent but after all this only had about 45 mins. And lastly after saying we needed to speak with the manager we were told she was too busy for us, and to call her another time!?!

The place was absolutely freezing (note there were not many people there as I ensured to come on a weekday), the state of some of the equipment has been poorly kept (zip line, self spinner) and there are sections that clearly need a clean and have not been addressed. I had to go and ask for the merry go round to be turned on, and additionally the slide was also turned on late. Realistically this place is not as exciting past the age of 4. Peekaboo is promising but upkeep needs to be a priority in spaces like this.
