When you play on a table you should know not to have your beverages or food over the cloth, put objects on the table or do anything that may damage the equipment. A staff member approached you (any one should be able to inform you of this basic ettiquette) and politely asked you to keep your drink back from the table and the reason why. You became immediately confrontational - Why? Who are You? Are you "even" staff? They informed you of all this.... You then decided to amp up needlessly situation and you know all the other things that you and your party did and I'm not going to get into that... The staff at Strokers are excellent and everyone is welcome there, and many people from many different nationalities and walks of life play there - what it boils down to is that you had a chip on your shoulder and instead of just accepting the staffs request you decided to take offense and then double down on that, saying it was due to race - and that is just disgusting. I've admittedly made indiscretions of my own at times and have been reminded by staff of rules and ettiquette, as have many players - all you had to do was be polite and accepting instead of taking it personal - maybe you should reflect on your own actions of Saturday night - you ruined the night for yourself, your friends and frankly for staff who work very hard for the patrons and deserve better. Strokers is one of the very best halls in all of Ontario and despite your false misleading review will continue to be successful for all the hard work its owner and staff do to maintain an excellent room. It was fun but challenging at the same time! The record for our room was 24 minutes with no clues and 35 minutes with 3 or less. We finished the room in 52 minutes and had no clues. It was really hard but exciting to see how hard and where your brain goes when trying to solve a mystery! They also hosted the event with a lunch (provided by our work staff) but did an amazing job of facilitating the lunch in with the event. We had a lot of fun and it's a great way to get to know people!

The one thing I will mention off the hop is that the park has been around for almost 50 years and some areas would benefit from being refreshed a little more often. There have been times when the mini golf or arcade in particular seemed a little worse for wear. On the plus side, there is a LOT to do there. Over and above the aforementioned mini golf, there is a standard golf course, waterslides, batting cages, go-karts, climbing wall, driving range and even summer day camps are offered. There's no question is can make for an expensive day for a family, but it doesn't have to be if you plan accordingly. They often have specials and offer packages that can make it at least slightly more affordable. While anecdotally I've heard some complain about the golf course, I actually think it is well laid out and maintained - but only issues over the years have only been that it's been a bit overcrowded on a few occasions. It's not the city's most well maintained course or its most challenging - but offers a good day of golf at a reasonable price. I have not, for a variety of reasons, tried the go-karts of water park lately but I can assure you that my boys absolutely love them. The club house is nice and the back patio offers a great view of a green that makes it a perfect place for a meal or snack when whether permits. While the menu is limited - the food is pretty good and not overly expensive. Things hot dogs and french fries and the sort. If you're looking for a way to have some fun with the kids you could certainly do worse than East Park. In fact, its one of my boys favourite places in the city. We don't go too often - but its always a great time when we do.

We loved the set up of the room, it was really well done, the puzzles were hard but not too hard and we got out with only a few minutes to spare. After they sent us a discount code and we went back this past weekend to do another room! Again we were impressed by the set up and how the clues led to the next and so on. We did require a few hints, but in the end we did prevent Armageddon and saved the world (you're welcome!) with 15 minutes to spare! I'll definitely go back here again.
