Inside, you order and pay at the counter. You can do takeout, but they have a few tables inside. We decided to dine in. A number of things on the menu appealed, but I was drawn to the whole fried pargo (red snapper). I had the owner find a smaller fish -- just for me. He found one just over a pound. Perfect! The fish is sold by the weight. My husband ordered a fish sandwich with flounder fish. It came on a soft Cuban hoagie roll with lettuce, tomato, onion, and tartar sauce. He said it was excellent. We shared an order of thin and crispy french fries. Very good, too. And we shared a can of soda. My whole snapper was fantastic. Lightly battered. I added a few squeezes of lime and some salt. If you know how to eat a whole fish, without getting too many bones, then this is the dish for you. I ate everything down to the skeleton of the spine! They've only been open here for a couple months. They used to be in Loxahatchee. Once they're discovered, they'll be packed -- so go now before the crowd finds them.

In general, this is really not very good bbq, but presentation can always make a difference. However, if that presentation looks like it was a sandwich made by the "fraternity chef" while charging top dollar prices, that's not going to help. A "rib sandwich" was literally 4 ribs on 2 slices of white bread, bones still in. For $20, at least have the decency to debone the ribs, especially if you can't even serve it on a nice roll. My girlfriend had the chicken sandwich, she asked for sauce on the side. This was confirmed when the employee read the order back. Sauce was on the sandwich, which was also served on two slices of white bread. The fries were okay, as were the beans. Final verdict, overpriced and underwhelming.

I was a little leary of the location (Mobile) but they were originally operating from a food truck and I guess it's good financial decision to make baby steps towards an actual restaurant, which they absolutely should. When certain menu items were unavailable, staff responded with attitude rather than helping find alternatives. The ambiance was not welcoming.
