This just one of several pieces Off the Wall has done for us. I highly recommend them for both quality and price.

I have used Off the Wall several times. Excellent quality and price. Also, good folks to work with.

Antique "FISH PLATTER" that OFF THE WALL took such pride in designing this one of a kind shadowbox is an heirloom that will be treasured!!

Karen's Korner is the best place in Mount Pleasant to get anything framed or to purchase items for…read moreyourself or as gifts. The artists that Karen pulls into her shop to sell are diverse and have such a variety of talents. I have purchased original art for my walls, prints for my walls that Karen has matted and framed, and over the years purchased many gifts and items for my own pleasure. You'll find art in pottery, wood, cooper, photography, acrylics, oils, watercolors, jewelry, handmade sea life, etc. I also take regular watercolor painting classes at Karen's Korner with one of her featured artists. A great spot with lots of room to learn new things. There are also times when other artists will come and teach a class and those are very informative and enjoyable. Don't think of one of those places where you go paint and drink your wine, and while I have done those often, the caliber of artists that teach at Karen's Korner are amazing, casual/friendly, and will teach you new methods, tricks, and ideas that you won't find in some of "those other places" previously mentioned. Even if you have never painted, the artists who teach here are patient and love teaching their techniques. Karen's Korner is a wonderful haven for artists and those who can appreciate the talents of others and their creativity.

Absolutely loved these chicken stained glass panels in the window.. they definitely drew me in! :-)…read moreNot only were there the normal stained glass panels but also items where you could put candles in to reflect this mottled colorful glass... even a lantern! Such a neat idea that would play on many levels. There's lots of various artists and artisans work on display and for sale. From paintings to pottery and glass work to jewelry... they have it all! Reasonable prices for that special gift for a certain someone. And the staff was very helpful :-) If you already have a piece and are looking for the perfect frame this is definitely your go-to for that.

This guy. This guy!…read more Man ... where to begin ........ Ben Osborn, the owner and *brilliance* behind Eastbound Photography and Custom Framing is just awesome. "AMAZING" doesn't even begin to describe what he's done for us, and how fantastic he is. Though I've yet to use his framing services, personally- I've seen the work he does and I've also been lucky enough to see him in 'action.' From both experiences, I can honestly say that Ben is one of the MOST clever and artistic guys I've ever met or known in my entire life. Everything he creates is not only breathtaking ... but also PERFECT - down to one millionth of an inch. He is meticulous. The knack he has for detail could give even Bob Vila a run for his money. This is a hobby for him, but NOT *just* a hobby. He studies his craft, he puts every second of spare time into it, he goes to classes to learn and perfect. This isn't a money-making "scheme" for this guy. This is what he loves. And it SHOWS. I'm not sure he often does photography for people or families -- mostly focusing his spectacular talent(s) on scenery, landscapes, etc. But, he did it for us as a special favor. It was a very hot/humid day in the South Carolina sun, and he had lots of people in my family to photograph. And the MAJORITY of the people involved were young children & babies. Not one time during the (many) hours he spent taking our pics did he get frustrated or disheveled (and I am not too proud to admit that my 2 kids were NOT the most cooperative subjects in the world) :) -- nor did Ben lose his patience, smile, creativity, OR sense of humor (which is absolutely terrific, by the way.) If you DON'T laugh while spending a few minutes with Ben, you might need to check yourself. Because he WILL make you laugh. Ben clearly has a real eye for beauty and a very obvious talent when it comes to seeing the "simple" things ... that so many of us would take for granted or otherwise would just never notice. It really is something special to watch him in action. You can see by the look on his face and the twinkle in his eye that Ben has found his passion. :) It's a sight to behold! We are SO lucky to have experienced it for ourselves. And I look forward to having one of his works hanging in our home someday. Look OUT, Ansel Adams! :) And keep up the INCREDIBLE work, Ben Osborn! P.S. - Ben's family is as lovely & fun as he is. If you're lucky, you'll get to meet them too. ;)
