The place literally had a queue out the door. We were lucky to get parking in fact. Summer time and people were on the road going on to or from their holidays on the M7. But to be fair the staff played a blinder and the food was served up lickety split and the queue moved quick. Sitting outside the food, well its McDonalds... it was hot which can be a plus. Leaving we decided to use the drive through as the entrance was block with people leaving and people arriving. BTW when you see the "McDonalds: 3 mins" sign on the motorway, it is more than 3 mins away. Perhaps they meant the exit for this McDonalds was 3 mins away... oh well, first world problems. All in all, it was good. But the size (on this occasion), the parking and the misleading signposting from the motorway = A-OK.

Prices are pretty cheap and as you'd expect from a fast-food place. The usual mad post-pub ques at 3am are a thing of the past in Kilkenny however, as a problem with the licence forces them to close at 1am.
