I ordered the chicken burger tonight. I barely finished half of the burger as it was very dry. Almost inedible.

We grabbed a table on the covered patio and ordered two fish and chips dishes, one halibut and one cod.

This busy little spot definitely needs a reservation. It is hopping on a Monday evening. Let me first say the service was excellent. All the staff were friendly and prompt. We started with some appetizers the calamari and the mussels. Both was delicious. It is rare to find calamari that isn't over cooked and this was cooked perfectly to tender, lightly breaded and served with a fabulous taziki sauce. The mussels served with toast points in a lemon wine sauce was excellent. I order the seafood linguini that had sockeye, clams, mussels, white fish and prawns in a lemon cream sauce that was all excellent. A huge portion that I took half home. My husband had the pork schnitzel special and upgraded to the risotto for his side instead of mashed potatoes. He also added a ceasar salad for us to share. It was wonderful!! We also tried the red and white sangria and wow it was awesome! It comes by the glass or 1/2 L or whole L. It was delicious! This restaurant came highly recommended by another boating friend and we will definitely go back! For everything our dinner was less than $150 US including a generous tip for the excellent service!

The clam chowder was solid. The seafood caps were good but very cheesy. It was hard to taste the seafood in the mushroom and it was mostly just cheesy flavour. The fish and chips were very large and seafood was juicy. The atmosphere is very family friendly, cozy and the server was very nice and checked in once in a while.

It feels like a family business that has been around. We ordered seafood pasta, fried oysters burger, a bucket of mussels, a captain's platter. The portions were super big. I was glad we ordered only 5 dishes and it was more than enough for the 6 of us. I found about 7 unopened mussels from the bucket and I told the server about it. She acknowledged it and went back to the kitchen. They came back with almost another full bucket for us. I told them I wasn't expecting this and it was more than we asked for. They wanted us to have more, It shows that they care and are honest people. The food was great. My husband raved about the pasta and the giant scallops in it. My son loved the fried shrimp and lung cod in his platter, the batter was light and you can taste good quality fish. It was overall a very good experience and much more than what we expected!

The chowder was delicious and I also thoroughly enjoyed the other seafood. The prime rib was okay although I think I would pass on land next time and just get seafood here! Service is very friendly although takes a little time - the vibe is a small town family run restaurant. The interior is very cute and romantic with great waterfront views. The only qualm I had about the interior is that there were a distracting number of fruit flies (I think I had 3-4 that died in a single beer). Hopefully they can install a fly trap or something as it did detract from the lovely interior. Overall I would happily return if I'm in the area for more seafood.

I ordered the Coquilles Saint-Jacques, a classic French scallop dish traditionally made with a rich cream and cheese sauce. There was no cream or cheese to be found--just overcooked, non-local scallops. That dish was a solid D. The lobster bisque, however, was an A+ and easily the highlight of the meal. The saffron prawn dish was okay at best. The prawns were decent, but many of the vegetables were undercooked. To their credit, the staff tried to make things right by offering fresh local scallops at the end of the meal. I appreciated the gesture, but those should have been the scallops served with the original Coquilles Saint-Jacques. Overall, the people and the view were outstanding, but the kitchen didn't live up to the setting.
