First off I'd like to say I've been going there for years, from when they were originally in Marco Island. Last night was the worst experience ever. The night started with the crabby woman screaming that we needed to check in, who was rude and condescending while we were doing so, which I've never had to do any other time I've attended a show there and then when she gave us proof of our lobster dinner preorder on a stick it note. We are paying adults and patrons (as a matter of fact we paid $248 before we even arrived for the show) and there could be some better processes I'm sure. Then I'm not sure if it was such a packed house and the staff couldn't keep up with the demands but it was over an hr sitting before we even got water after I stopped about 3 different servers or was able to see our waitress who then proceeded to tell us she was delayed because she was talking to another table and then an additional half an hour before our drinks even came and that was only after I got up and walked to the front to say hey what's going on it's an hour and a half into the show and still no drink? The comedians were amazing of course but the comedy club itself used to be much better. They used to be more accommodating and not pack themselves so full that they can't keep up or speak to you like chattel. read more

Garbage. Went to a show last night and had to listen to a drunk lady yell random nonsense the entire time, including racial slurs. She interrupted every comedian several times and the staff did absolutely nothing. Everyone at the surrounding tables were disgusted by her conduct, not just me. Meanwhile, I got separated from my fiancé and the manager wouldn't let me back in to get her - that rule they'll apparently enforce. This place is a joke, and for all the wrong reasons. read more

Went Wednesday night for a medium show seeing Cindy Kyoza. It's well run, the usually have comics but this evening was a lot of people very desperate to connect to their loved ones from the other side. As a medium she's just ok. The facility is nice enough. They have a decent menu and nice service. Because of the set up you have to order immediately and then watch the show. Our waitress was busting her butt as well as the entire staff. We had a shrimp scampi appetizer which came out same time as our entrees. It was ok but not great timing. My only negative was waiting in line to get in for thirty minutes. In Naples humidity - not fun. If it's an act you really want to see them it's worth it. The had a Groupon for the event so you get what you pay for. No regrets and would go back knowing more about the place. read more

I'm disappointed I have to give this place a one star. The act was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. The venue was awful! Awkward seating, overpriced food, over priced drinks, and poor service. We got 4 beers which were priced at $5. We got the bill and it was listed as $24 before tax plus gratuity which was supposed to be 18%. Our bill came back as $30 bucks which should have been $25.25..... brought it to the servers attention and he initially said oh that's gratuity.... not for 40% gratuity! Wow! I was not expecting much being this was my first time at a local comedy club. I was very pleasantly surprised. The prices for drinks and food was very moderate. The drinks were mixed expertly and tasted fantastic. The food was above average. I had a seafood platter, all broiled, that was out of this world. The salad before the meal was delicious. Not just lettuce and a cucumber, I'm talking bleu cheese, spring mix, cranberries, and other vegetables. My husband had the prime rib. It was a huge slab of perfectly cooked (medium rare) beef with a delicious au jus and horseradish sauce. The meals were outstanding and we will definitely be going back. Oh yes, the comedy! First time here, the location being in the mall was a little different from what I'm used to but once I got in it was very nice. The stage room is setup very well for people at any of the tables (I was about right in the middle). Service was good & the chicken sandwich & fries we ordered was great. Fantastic night with Bob Marley on February 1, 2023. I had never been to a comedy club and did not know what to expect. Although our seats were in the back row, we could see and hear everything. The bathrooms were clean. The waitstaff was attentive. The food was delicious. I had the lobster tails, and they were great. It was not cheap with two drinks and a tip ($84), but I could have ordered something cheaper. The only confusing part was the next day. When we originally sat down, the waitress used our credit cards to "open our tab" and then later charged our dinner. The next day I saw two charges on my account. But by the second day, the original charge was deleted. read more

First time there. We did have a reservation for the Anthony Rodia show (which was excellent) But we did arrive a little earlier then our scheduled time but we were greeted with an early seating. Great! We ate a small dinner of pizza and a taco dish that someone else had and were enjoying it. Both were excellent. Service was very very good always stopping back if we needed anything And quick. Highly recommend going there for a show and some food. Keep in mind when you do receive your check it's kind of dark and, hard to see your charges. on it the gratuity is already added to your charge So you just should pay what's on the bill. read more

Went to April 4 "World Premiere of Jeremy Piven" while vacationing in Naples Florida recently. What a ripoff! He had no act whatsoever and performed for maybe twenty five minutes! Three opening acts preceded him and all but One were lackluster. He admitted it was his first foray into the difficult world of stand-up comedy. We bought tickets way in advance to see our Comedian. We were sat at a table way closer to strangers than should be allowed during Covid and during the show the two hostesses were conversationally talking loudly to each other. Then a group of young girls came in and had drinks but were not interested in the show At All. So to my left We had the hostesses gabbing then to the right we had the young girls gabbing as our comic tried doing his best. No manager around at all. Upscale comedy club behind Mobil. Comics were very funny. I don't mind spending $30 on a Wednesday night for 3 comedians but don't like the REQUIRED 2 item (drink or food) minimum. So, for one, eating an appetizer (ahi tuna was yummy) and one drink puts the tab at $60. Pricey. Even for Naples. Even the headliner comic joked that the stage was dull. Went to Off The Hook Comedy club last night to see Dom Irrera. First of all the show started at 6:30 and our server finally came over to get our first drink order at 7:10. Now the show is going on and she is taking 8 drink orders totally interrupting hearing the show for 10 minutes. Terrible, terrible show! He wasn't funny at all! People were leaving or talking over him he was so BAD! Management was also rude and not helpful at all. Total experience was awful!! They pack you in like sausages! I was on an uncomfortable bench seat literally a foot away from a total stranger. No one had masks. Had to stand outside and wait to get in as it was first come, first serve. My daughter bought tickets months ago. Reserved seating would be more efficient. My husband and I were really disappointed. Ticket said doors would open at 7 PM. We arrived a little earlier and were told we could not go in until 7pm. We came back at 7 PM and the doors were still not open. It's now 7:20 and there are two long lines of people waiting to go in and the doors still aren't open. (By the the tickets recommend that you come early). Also, before purchasing the tickets they do not tell you in advance that you have to purchase two items from their menu. You only find out after-the-fact. Not happy. Our waiter was a nice guy but seemed inexperienced. He came and asked a table with 4 people if we were ready to order. I had to point out that with only ONE menu that one of us had just grabbed, it was kind of hard to order. So he went ahead and got us three extra menus. About 30 seconds later he approached us and asked if we were ready to order. I had to point out to him that we had not had a chance to look at the menu. Then when it was time to leave, the comedian was done We had to wait over 20 minutes to get our credit cards back because he had taken them to ring us up. Ok venue, nothing special. Unfortunately, the headliner was awful, barely anyone laughed and some people actually got up and left. Luckily, the other comedians were pretty funny, although not necessarily that original. Some of the food was overpriced for what you got. The Cobb salad with crab had a tiny amount of crab, literally 2 forkfuls. There are was a hard boiled egg (which was the only part with a decent portion size,) a minuscule shred of something that was supposed to be dried prosciutto and a little crumbled blue cheese. Overall, it was about 95% lettuce. Very disappointing and definitely not worth $17. The hamburger was ok. Fries average. I had also wanted to order a bowl of French onion soup, which was on the online menu, but not the regular one. Also on the online menu was the lobster cobb salad, which was actually crab. Our waiter was not friendly. I wouldn't call him rude, but he was not warm or welcoming. I would only come back here to see a comedian I knew beforehand would be amazing. I would not order food. Went here to see Eddie Griffin. Hilarious. He had no filter. He made so much of racist people, it drove some of them to even leave, Making it even more hilarious as he taunted them on the way out. Great choice of comedian, he kept it so real that people left with their feelings hurt. If someone making fun of a racist offends you, good chance you might be racist. We ordered drinks and food. Drinks were good. Food was average. I think the price point is a little high for just average food. But overall a good experience. read more

We've been here many times. The comics are usually very entertaining, and we always seem to have a great time. Food is very good too. Only complaint would be that they need to allow more time (or perhaps more waitstaff) for food and drink service before the show begins. read more

Comedy is hit or miss. But the venue shouldn't be. This one could use some work. We bought VIP tickets (not worth it) and arrived 30 minutes prior to the show. It took 25 minutes before any server arrived at our "VIP" table on a Tuesday night despite several servers lounging about unoccupied. Off the hook Comedy Club provided the worst entertainment experience I have ever had in my life. I work in the entertainment industry I have worked on hundreds of live performances large and small. I thought I would take my family out to enjoy at night in Naples at off the hook Comedy Club but have been highly disappointed in all aspects of their service. 1. Waited in line for one hour and a half. I. would have left but no refunds or raincheck. 2. Once inside the full menu was not available and the hostess was very rude coming in. (July 1, 9pm) 3. Seating was uncomfortable and cramped. I do not think anything could be done to remedy their amateurish way of running a club. Customers should come first. Misleading texts almost every single week for two free tickets. The most recent example is what lead to 1 Star - although not sure that's even deserved. "Because you are one of our Best Customers, YOU JUST WON 2 FREE TIX 2night... Sun Jess Hilarious Special Engage. click 1st 25 WIN" You'd think that you won 2 tickets right? Nope. The "..." doesn't mean "2night through Sunday", it actually stands for an entirely different show where no promo codes will be valid. Must be a misunderstanding. So I called the box office and here's their response. "Yeah... we made a mistake and we've had a few others call because of the miscommunication and deceptive wording.. but unfortunately this is a 'Special Engagement' and no promo code can be offered". I said, "ok, maybe you can at least help us out with a discount or something since clearly this was a mistake made by your team and extremely misleading?" ... "we're sorry but my manager just told me that she told everyone else NO, and therefore we cannot help you. Would you like to pay full price?" They're well aware that this feedback would be made public, but didn't seem to bother them. Perhaps 5 years from now, when they're awful management runs them into the ground, they'll look back and regret not throwing a $5off coupon at me- which would have avoided all of this. A few things to know before going: 1) I did not realize - nor is it written anywhere - that it is shared seating, meaning you will be sitting at a table with people you don't know...and those seats are VERY close together; 2) although the venue advertises its mask policies, no one - neither patrons nor servers - were wearing masks (which is fine for those that have no issue with it but may be jarring to some that are not used to being 5 inches away from someone you don't know at your table without a mask); 3) food is pretty good, no complaints; 4) you have to pay for water - bottled water is the only option...I guess that's a money maker but a little surprising: and 5) the earlier you get there, the more seating options are available so you may want to arrive early. read more

Been several times always a 2 drink minimum "out of this don't have that" but the show usually pays the bill. After reading many of the reviews, debated with myself whether to post or not. Four of us went last night for the 9:00 pm show. Tickets were free (S/O had responded to a promotional email), so no complaint there. We arrived at 8:30 and thankfully were close to the front of the line, so we landed at seats within a few feet of the stage. The server (Mia) was friendly and attentive, as we just ordered drinks (no food). My main beef with the experience is the entertainment itself. Three performers - host, opener Sheba Mason, and headliner Adam Hunter. All three were funny enough. But -- perhaps it's my age -- why did so much of the humor have to be explicitly sexual? At times, all three bordered on the edge of being not just explicit, but vulgar. And, as a gay man, some of the humor felt homophobic. Granted, the same jokes would have felt very different coming from a gay/lesbian comic, or in a venue that was explicitly LGBT-friendly, but neither was the case here. The headliner did focus several times on two young women together, and after repeated attempts, they admitted they were a couple, being very good sports and self-confident enough to kiss, thankfully to the audience's applause. Had I and my partner been similarly focused on, I doubt the audience response would have been the same -- knowing as I do the very different reactions many straight men have to two men kissing vs two women. Would I go back? Judging from the other reviews about the quality of the food and service, probably not to eat and only if the entertainment was something I really wanted to see. read more

Glad there is a comedy venue but this is not up to par. Rich Voss was excellent with his material but when it ran the course he interacted with the audience and lost it. Not funny listening to boring audience bit and took half the show. Drinks way over priced and be aware of the minimum after a $70 door charge! Too pricey for average show. read more

Gratuity rip off scam. Mediocre to poor comedy. Expensive everything. As others have stated on Yelp, they add a tip to your bill, and place a misleading tip calculator on the bottom of the check and present it to you in the dark /dim lighting, assuring that you will not notice. People complain, but they still leave it that way. It's obviously intentional. Why patronize an establishment like that? read more

Sam Morrill, obviously a Trump-hater, was the main feature Dec 17, 2018. He got blowback from the audience so he resorted to ageism insults about the "snowbird" retireds. My DIL, who is probably not even as old as he is, was "grabbed" at the venue and shown out the door, apparently for not laughing at his jokes. They said she was rude but I reserve judgment b/c she's a quiet reserved woman, and a professionally employed all-year resident of Naples. We arrived not knowing what to expect. Regardless of weather conditions, you have to wait outside wrapped around the building. The start time listed on the ticket was nine but we were not even allowed in until 9:26. Even though you pay for tickets you are still required to purchase two drinks a person. And considering this, we never had to show our tickets, we were just asked whether or not we checked in. The waitress would stop right in front of you while you are trying to watch the show and wait until you ordered your second drink. When I went I had great seats (I prefer the booths) and saw Alonzo Bodden (hilarious). Don't remember who opened for him (he was terrible). The food and service there is pretty good. The menu is a little more upscale than you'd find at normal Comedy Clubs. They have special shots they offer (I got one) and our table shared a bunch of appetizers. We had a great time. Afterwards, Alonzo stayed behind to meet fans. Not everyone does that so I thought it was nice of him to do. I "liked" them on Facebook and see they get a lot of great acts. read more

Was there tonight for the Sam Comroe show. He was great! This review is about the venue, not the show. The venue - The layout is horrible. I've never been to a comedy club laid out like this. The picture on their website shows a VERY limited view of the room. We were seated at a table in a rear corner, way off to the side. where we could barely see the comedian....from behind and off to the side. Some tables were behind the bar. Those poor people had to see the show looking through the bar! Most venues may have seats/tables farther back, but all are facing the stage. Poor layout. They should tell you on the website that you may have a poor/obstructed view. Failure to do so could be construed by some as deceptive advertising...I feel it is. The service - Horrible! Drink orders took a while. Placing a food order took even longer. Everyone at our table placed their food order at the same time (once we got a server to help us). The show was about half over when 4 of us got our food. The server came back when the show was almost over and told the other 4 the kitchen was "backed up" and they should get their food soon. The server was told not to bother bringing the food since the show was ending! The excuse of being "backed up" does not make sense. As compared to a standard restaurant, the owners of this facility know how many people are coming in for a show based on ticket sales! Therefore, they know what sort of food rush to expect. The only real likely reason I can think of for this level of service is that they don't have enough help. With a venue like this, given enough historical data, they can probably predict within a close margin how many of each menu item they will sell and when, thus how much help they will need to get the food out. The drinks - Ordered a mojito, moscato, and a glass of water. Water - Was told they do not serve water, but could buy a bottle of it for $2.00. This was not San Pelligrino water, just a small bottle of plain water, I think between 12 and 16 oz (honestly didn't look at the bottle size). I can't remember where I asked for a glass of water and was charged for it. C'mon guys! Moscato - came from a bottle that was opened too long ago. The frizzante (mildly sparkling) was long gone from this glass, flat as a pancake. Definitely came a bottle that was opened too long. Mojito - I thought these drinks has some rum in them? The drink I got was iced club soda with mint in it. The food - ordered a cup and a bowl of New England Chowder the shrimp scampi flat bread and lump crab cobb salad. Clam Chowder - ordered a bowl and a cup. The server brought out two bowls the same size. When questioned, he said one was the cup and the other the bowl. Either we got two bowls for the price of a cup and a bowl, or more likely, two cups for the price of a cup and a bowl (I took pictures of them) Shrimp scampi flatbread - acceptable Lump crab cobb salad - would have been acceptable, except it wasn't served with lump crabmeat. It was more like the white crab flakes used to make dishes such as non-lump crab cakes (I took a picture), In fairness, one of the people who never got their food had the manager come by (I guess because they had to take the food off his check). She did offer us all a free ticket to come back for another show. I declined the free tickets since I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't send any of my friends here, even with a free ticket. One star...I only gave that because I had to give one in order to post the review. read more
