The crackers are complementary and have a good seasoning to them. I opted for a sandwich and the corn casserole. The sandwich was good, it was pulled white meat chicken with a great sauce mixed in. Meat is smoked onsite, sides are all house made using the original recipies. What's new is their "chipotle syle" service ( My words not theirs). Pick your meat (pork, brisket, chicken or turkey). Available as 4 ounce or 8 ounce, your base: (salad. Sandwhich bun, on a plate (bulk) or with Mac (I assume that is mac & cheese. Then they had a case of sides. We had the green beans, corn bread, mac and cheese, cole slaw and pickles. I dont know what sides we skipped. This felt like a lot. Oh and we added a wings. 5 for $5 bucks is a deal! I ordered the wingss with BBQ dry rub. The BBQ sauce selection was also part of the process. Do you want mustard based? Vinegar? Brown Sugar? We chose brown sugar and had 2 choices: one was sweet like a Sweet Baby Rays - Cincinnati style, Ithink and the other was sweet and tangy. We each got one of each of the briwn sugar options. I expected a few hiccups because this was just their second day open, but everything operated smoothly and the food was fantastic. They might need one more server, but they did have a help wanted sign on the door. DHC serves a large variety of chicken dishes, along with shrimp and vegetarian dishes, including noodle dishes, rice cakes, and salads. The plain fried chicken pieces may be the best fried chicken I've ever had in central Ohio. I ordered five drumsticks. They were completely outstanding, perfectly crispy, fresh, tender, and beautiful. The plain fried chicken had just subtle seasoning but very good, lots of various sauces were available. I think it could use a little black pepper, but for this visit I left it as prepared. The serving sizes are very large, I ordered the five legs which were big plump, juicy, and very good. There was also an option for a half chicken whole chicken and lunch size servings of chicken pieces and chicken tenders. My french fries were pretty much perfect, the type with almost a little batter on the outside. There was a very subtle different taste, maybe slightly sweet, and in any event they were just really perfect, hot, and delicious. The server was very polite and efficient, especially considering the fact that he was covering a lot of tables. The server also offered me disposable gloves, which evidently is a common practice in Korea, and to tell you the truth they were very convenient. There was a large crowd, maybe 3/4 capacity, on a Thursday lunch. For those from Grove City, this is where the old Graeter's used to be at the corner of Broadway and Park Street, across from Plank's and City Hall. I'm not much of a drinker, but there seems to be a fairly good selection of drinks, a large selection of bottled beers, maybe around 25 total. They also have something called Soju, which looks to be fruit-based, along with regular Coke fountain drinks and Korean beverages like Milkis soda, Ramun and fruit pop. So definitely a wide variety. There's a bar area with a bartender. She is serving food to people sitting at the bar and, I assume, drinks, though I didn't see any signs that they had cocktails or mixed drinks. The other patrons here seemed to really be enjoying their food. One person got the Snow Onion Chicken and it looked great. I also ordered fried chicken tenders with sweet galbi sauce, kind of a Korean sauce. They were also outstanding very tender the sauce was sweet but not too sweet with a little bit of tang, very nice. I left the restaurant with plenty of leftovers that I'm excited about reheating. There were several television sets. Three had K-pop videos running, one had a U.S. baseball game on it, and another had an Asian cooking show on it. It really was one of the most outstanding casual restaurant meals and visits I've ever had. I certainly would give it 6 stars if I could.
