I went to their dealer more than 5 times. I think they could have better communication with their customers.

Mark was very informative; answering all our questions. We live three hours away and were looking for specific features: diesel, grill guard, B&W hitch, running boards, long box, crew cab. This truck had it all and was priced well. We asked about trading our classic car and they were open to the trade. Mark even offered to have the truck delivered to us at no additional charge. Again - this is a 3 hour drive each way. Delivery was flawless! We drove the truck about 200 mile when the check engine light came on, followed by a warning that it would go into limp mode. We went straight to a dealer near us with a master diesel mechanic and he determined it was a DEF system issue. We contacted Mark our salesman and he stated that the dealership would honor their 3 month/3000 mile warranty. We had the repairs completed and Mike the owner of Country Truck contacted the mechanic shop and paid the bill as per the warranty. They stand behind their vehicles and offer great service to the buyer.

It's almost too simple. They were so friendly and quick I startled to think it was a scam. But , ya…read moreknow, from Queens... but they email and call from real people so when you call or text rita, et al actually respond. they then assign a trucker to you and mine came and delivered on exact dates requested. two notes: the driver uses an app to indicate damage. Within this app they apply little yellow dots to indicate damage. Within these little yellow dots are two-letter codes. TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE CODES my driver was a little free and easy with the dots And because I couldn't see the codes on his phone until I got the bill of lading as a pdf, I didn't see that he had marked a chip (CH) in the windshield as a crack (CR). THAT SAID, the car arrived as sent, only a little road dust. Delivered TO MY DOOR on my tight street in queens all the way from Houston. second, get a receipt from driver However you pay. but this is a note for stupid people like me who forget stuff when they're in a rush. side note - despite the warning and statement that they don't take household goods in the car, the Accord behind me was stuffed full and the driver said nothing. I put a couple tool boxes on the floor too. All arrived safely but no doubt, you do this at your own risk. But it was nice not to ship the tool boxes from Texas. these were the only people I called. The price and process convinced me. their insurance is third party only. So it only covers your deductible fyi. Ask for a certificate of insurance from their recommended trucker. But you have to be covered by your own insurance, so just call. Most cover. (Progressive and All State in our case)

I also did some analysis of BBB ratings & reviews versus Yelp reviews, and Ship A Car Direct passed my high standards with flying colors. The communication via email, text and voicemail from Scott and staff was professional with clear intent. I did appreciate the app for before and after transport pictures of each section of the vehicle. My assigned driver was pleasant and also had good communication about ETA. The car arrived in record time, and I couldn't be happier with the service. I would recommend this transport company.

BG Automotive? More like "BS" Automotive. The one star is for an oil change (since 0 stars is not…read morean option). BG Auto IS SHADY, smooth talking for sure, but A RIP OFF. STAY AWAY. This is a lengthy description, but it's not half the story. To all the glowing 5 star reviewers - check your invoices. The problem started with their "courtesy inspection" accompanying the oil change, where half of their recommendations (deemed red flag "Requires Immediate Attention") ultimately turned out to be mostly unnecessary and absurdly expensive. That became apparent only after paying. My bad, of course, I obviously should have asked to see a detailed estimate prior to the work. The initial estimate did not provide parts or labor detail & appeared to indicate the work was part of a "complete tune up." Upon dropping off the truck, "Service Advisor"Jesse stated that Champion copper spark plugs had been factory installed on 2013 RAM 2500s, so that was best & what BG would install. Classic BAIT & SWITCH: BG charged $508.48 for a set of 16 plugs! When I challenged the bill, asking if "kryptonite plugs" were installed instead, Jesse indicated, no, the copper plugs were used... then he checked his computer & stated, actually no, in fact the [far] more expensive NKG iridium plugs were installed. "They're much better because they last up to 100,000 miles," he emphasized. I replied, "Great. BG just changed out NGK iridium plugs that had been in the engine already, with only 60,000 miles on them." The WORK WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Also on the bill was a "TOTAL FEES" charge of $175.77 (yes, that specific), but with ZERO DETAIL of what those fees were for or how they were calculated. Jesse couldn't provide that detail either, "It could be shop supplies, or hazardous disposal - you know, those state regulations - it could be almost anything." Note there were no hazardous materials involved with this work, such as a tire or battery disposal fee. (Google search indicates: In Colorado, shop fees are usually calculated as a percentage of the labor cost (e.g., 5-10%) and are often capped at a maximum amount (e.g., $25 to $50). Also, Colorado statute requires the repair invoice to have some kind of description of these fees, and further, "a description of each part by name and identifying number." Nowhere on the invoice was the type of plugs installed specified, either. You get NADA DETAIL from BS Automotive. Finally, while repair shops typically mark up parts 70-100% of wholesale price, BG is marking up parts in the ballpark of 100% of retail price. (If you can pry out of them the parts brand they say they'll use, you can easily verify this with a Google search at their counter.) They should be ashamed and embarrassed for what they're charging the hardworking folks of Longmont. When pressed to justify the charges, Jesse insisted they were competitive, "within 5% of other local repair shops." More BS. Comparing apples to apples (parts & labor only), the local dealership quoted over $200 less, the Loveland repair shop I've frequented in the past was over $400 less (obviously, checked after the fact...). If the handful of other shops Jesse quoted are actually within 5%, they are ripping us off too. Jesse would not budge on the final bill, but he did offer to comp me an oil change. As if! I had already told him I would never set foot in BG Automotive again. However, I would take a call from the BG Automotive (Owner) to provide the rest of the story about this pathetic BG encounter.

We had an awesome buying experience thanks to Taylor. I found her through her Youtube RV walk thru videos and we found her to be incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. The best part is Taylor truly cared about finding the right fit and her sense of caring has continued on well past the sale. We're first time RV'ers so lots to learn but Taylor has been there with us every step of the way to ensure our questions have been answered. When I couldn't figure out how to make our hot water heater work, Bill H. was reachable on the first try over the phone and patiently walked me thru the process. When I couldn't complete a DIY suspension upgrade project and ended up not being able to remount the old rear bump spring, Billie got me in the next day to complete the job. Everyone at Transwest has made our first RV buying experience a very pleasurable one. We'll undoubtedly be a repeat customer when we look to upgrade from a Class C to A in a few years' time.
