I got four other solar quotes using very similar equipment as Gold Path. I even had a friend of a friend who works as an engineer in the solar biz take a look at the quotes. He ball parked them as equivalent. After a lot of leg work with other quotes, I asked Gold Path to match or beat a competing quote. After two weeks and multiple attempts of follow up (by phone, email and text) the Gold Path sales rep finally replied with a "we don't think their system is the equivalent of ours" but we will offer you $1,000 off our previous quote.

We have used May Electric multiple times since we moved into our house. John the owner goes above…read moreand beyond for his customers. He is easy to get a hold of and his prices are completely fair. I have also met at least 3 of his employees and they are kind and hard working. This company actually cares about its customers and it shows in their work. The first project May Electric did was dig a trench in our backyard to run electric from our house to our detached garage. They installed two outlets, one light switch, and a fluorescent outdoor light. I was so thrilled with how everything was done that day. I then had May Electric install an outdoor outlet on the back of our house. I even requested one that had 4 outlet specifically. I guess they do not typically have those on hand. So they made sure they had one on hand when they did the job. I am so happy with my special request and how it looks / functions. Inside the house they have fixed an outlet that was not getting electricity to it and a light fixture that was not getting electricity to it. And yes, we live in an old house. I have found it necessary to have a good electrician that we can call. John and May Electric are just that. They are reliable, fair priced, efficient, and knowledgeable. In fact just the other day when it was 12* outside, our electricity went out in our house and it was not on AEP's end. We reached out to John and within hours he sent Eric to check it out. He didn't want us to go through the night with no electricity. That is the kind of amazing service and compassion John has for his customers. We would be lost without John and May Electric. If you are looking for a trust worthy and reliable electrician please consider giving John a call or a text.

They diagnosed that a recently installed capacitor had been wired incorrectly, corrected the wiring, and checked the system in about 15 minutes. I'm giving 3 stars because, while the service was prompt, professional, and the issue was resolved, I didn't feel the price reflected the amount of work performed.
