Asked about schedule issues and if they can confidently do this job. Then was replied with: "no no scheduled issues sir , the car is in line with the space of it still being occupied by the car itself it was just one of those days unfortunetly and we couldnt start on it today , the work time is still the same im just backed up by 1 day sir , i apologize for this inconvinience and since we dont open sundays , the best bet will be to finish it by monday" Told specifically not to start it or drive it due to timing being off and creating additional damage. But that was disregarded and started any way. Highly unprofessional place and strongly don't recommend bringing your car here if you love or care for your car. I have been lied to and disrespected. She said she goes to grease monkey, but I went to Jiffy Lube because they were closer to my home. I really really really wish I would've went to grease monkey. Half of the things I needed I didn't get at Jiffy Lube because the price was already 125 just for the oil change alone. But I needed an air filter and one of my headlights was out. It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. Actually, everyone was but I wouldn't have been able to remember all of their names lol but I specifically wanted to shout out Alex and Cadence. To come to the point - I went to Gateway on the opposite end of town from me, to look at another vehicle that ended up not being a good match for me, but, next to it was a Honda Pilot, little older, with some miles. Vehicle had some moderate work done yet, Ben offered this information without my even asking. Try getting THAT somewhere else!!! Perfect vehicle for my needs. Love it! Now it's time to talk money and I meet Ben, the co-owner and main sales force. The vehicle seemed to need a couple minor things to help make me comfortable with the purchase, and these were done, WITH a LOANER car, thanks to Ben. Dave at the front counter is Ben's right hand man, and very capable. Every employee I bumped into or interacted with at Gateway was at minimum professional, and as I understand it they are all ASE certified! Between them all, the agreed minor repairs were completed, my full smile installed, deal struck. A good deal. In closing, now many hundreds of miles later, my vehicle is running and behaving perfectly. I bought this at a fair price and Dave and Ben did what they said they would do, and did so respectfully and promptly. They handed me information NO used car seller would ever do, and kept their promises. I would not recommend anyone buy a used vehicle before looking at what Gateway has to offer. We were able to get a same day appointment, they had the parts needed for our sprinter (which is rare), and had the job complete in just a few hours. Thankfully, they also had a garage large enough for our Sprinter (also rare in our experience). They even accommodated our whole family in their waiting room while they worked (my husband, our 7 month old baby, our 2 dogs and me). All in all, we had a great experience in an unfortunate situation. The customer service was amazing and we highly recommend services here.

After paying $200 for their diagnostic, I was handed a 10-page report filled with recommended repairs--but somehow it still didn't tell me why my truck wasn't going into 4WD. Now they want to charge me another $175 an hour just to continue diagnosing the 4WD system. Seriously? I brought the truck in because the 4WD wasn't working, paid $200 for a diagnosis, and left without an answer to the problem I originally brought it in for. To make matters worse, they charged me $25 for a couple gallons of gas because the fuel level was low. I understand gas costs money, but charging $25 for a couple gallons on top of everything else just adds to the feeling that they are looking for every possible way to add another charge to the bill. My experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It feels like Jensen Tire 2.0--nickel-and-diming customers instead of focusing on fixing the problem they came in for. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. If you bring your vehicle here, be prepared for the possibility of paying for diagnostics, getting a long list of recommended repairs, and still not getting the original problem resolved.
